ok chickenlittle(s) get a grip. Raging about ... well nothing? other than Xgear MAY be better than Y gear before you have any idea if there even is a difference is effing retarded. This game was ALWAYS going to be micro transaction based. there is no news there so pull your heads out of your collective asses and deal. If you dont want to buy an item dont. If my understanding right now, only from the interviews and such holds and I happen to go kill a whack of nids in the underworld and pull some relic bolter that is better than yours do you cry foul for that too? or do you use your obvious mastery of all things basement mage and kill me anyway?

The price points on some of these packs are higher than what most of us anticipated, but I think the promise of all four factions for 120 is still there isnt it? 35$ for a digital weapon? well... ya its high but I may get one anyway if only to kill some one and have them cry foul because of my omfgHaxOrP2Wbs weapon.

off to get my founders hax now,

And... IF you whiners are not going to get the founder packs... well then the founder forum is worth the price of admission....

Oh so the founder heroes are just skins? If that's the case then im sorry , its perfectly fine. But if they are other versions then i still find it annoying. It may be equall in potential but , as long as it's different , it should be given to everyone who purchases the game imo. After all , anyone who has played competitive mmos with rpg or shooter elements can tell that there is no such thing as absolute 1v1 balance , nor it can ever happen.

Horus heresy items are too expensive? Don't buy them. They are NOT MEANT FOR EVERYONE. That's why they are limited to 2500 pieces. You DON'T need them,they are what Miguel refers to as "Pat to look cool". There are lots of people who will pay, so if you don't want to, no one is going to hold it against you.

Character slots are too expensive? Again, don't buy one. You get FOUR with your Package, that's one character per faction already, and it's not like this is a PvE themepark with vertical growth. You won't need alts, just outfit your character in different gear and he fills a different role.

The Heroes are NOT just reskins. They are reskins that come with slightly different stats than their "normal" counterpart, and their wargear os predetermined and NOT customizable. So the Founder Hero is locked into his loadout, while the regular version of that hero can be "tuned" to your style. Don't feel the need for a variant skin. DON'T BUY IT. It is NOT mandatory for advancement in the game

Once again, people want to start throwing the PTW crap around again. We have not seen one second of actual battle! How can any one of you judge what is pay to win when we don't HAVE anything yet. No, the sky is not falling, and we don't need to crucify the devs for betraying us just yet.

We are still 18 MONTHS from release... you don't need to spend your points yet. More items will be released every month between now and release. Take your hand off the mouse and wait a bit to see what becomes available. Those of you who DON'T want to spend big bucks, DON'T. The entire damn store is OPTIONAL.

I know, haters gonna hate, right? Well, I'm not going to sit here and watch while they throw bullshit facts around like they have any more idea as to what is going on than the rest of us. We all have access to the same information, and unprecedented access to the devs. Ask questions. Give your input. But stop stating "facts" that you're pulling out of your asses.

then lets get back to the $40 founders pack... i personally don't see anything that is exclusive.
rogue shop items seem like they would be available for everyone even after release.
modules? "early access", non-exclusive.
so besides getting the game and 40k RS points for the price of $40, what would make me a "founder"?

The reason I caved on the founder weapons was that Miguel told me the Fury of Asuryan will set enemies on fire. I'm a sucker for exclusivity but that alone could not sway me. Burning shurrikens could. My wallet is in tears.

The cool thing about "working out stuff" is that no matter what you get in the store right now, you can get a full RTP refund for it to spend on whatever the hell else you want during the ENTIRETY of early access.

I think people playing with all the different stuffs will help get the devs get more feedback about what works and all that prior to launch. Its an awesome idea!
