This sounds like a whole lot of conclusions being drawn WAY too soon, especially since the majority, if not everyone, here haven't touched actual gameplay yet. Won't know how any weapons/classes/factions compare to the others until we unleash the first wave upon Arkhona.
Exactly. That weapon description has me nervous for sure but without a stat line we're just making shots in the dark.
Either I'm very bad at explaining (wouldn't surprise me as it's not my native language) or peoples reading comprehension are just outright terrible. I'm not questioning that there should be weapons being better at certain situations. What I am questioning is the fact that your character can be wielding better weapons just because your pockets are deeper than those that could just afford the basic package. But oh well. If this is how Behavior wants it to be then so be it, but then I'll just be an ordinary customer and stop giving them my money.
RTP are their micro-transaction currency. From what I have seen, they are obtainable through the optional subscriptions, buying the pre-order packs, or as an individual purchase through the Store.
OK calm down Lady Prissy Fingers or what ever. It's not double, it says "more" Just click on the damn thing and read it while you feed your lama, Gawd!. And if it alters a part of the game while maintaining balance it's not P2W. Some variety, with out advantage is sauce for the goose. I'm sorry if your nanny can't hold your hand while you play this game but there is no peace amongst the stars, only war and the thirst of laughing Gods. P.S. Please don't reply...I'm done with you.
Yes we havent seen the "damn stats" so stop protecting something you dont know about. The descriptions of an item is meant to advertise what it does. If i paid for that gun i would expect it to have more ammo because they told me it has it in the description. Thats what descriptions are for when it comes to shoping goods. If it doesnt have more ammo it's false advertising and i would ask my money back. And once more and hopefully for the last time , it's not about the fire rate or if it's balanced. As long as it affects the gameplay in any way , the fact that it is not available to everyone who buys the game is wrong. And so is wrong that you need to buy heroes , vehicles , armors etc. I think they made a big mistake releasing the shop now. We know nothing about anything other what they told us. I kinda feel like it harmed them as i see a lot of people in distress. I for one feel way more sceptical about EC. The shop as is looks suspicious to me.
The thing about the founder's heroes is they are sidegrades of the standard heroes that will be available to all players. So if you think about it that way, the founder's heroes are limited to being generally in the same ballpark as whatever the standard hero will be. So if we want an Obliterator, for instance, what could he be a sidegrade of? I can easily see Fallen being sidegrades of Chosen, or Master of Relics being a founder's version of the Techmarine. Warpsmith or warp talons would be cool and all, but we gotta think first about what standard heroes Behavior will put in before we can imagine what the founder's heroes will be.
Honestly this is part of the reason I don't do pre-orders in general, and this one is no exception. I don't plan to even get the game until IG comes out as a playable faction, but that doesn't mean I won't be keeping an eye on what happens in the meantime.
Define for us what makes a weapon 'better' than another. Sure you can compare 2 sniper rifles side-by-side, and there will be differences, but that does not determine if the exact same shooter will hit the exact same target 10 times in a row with both of these rifles unless the shooter is adept with both of these weapons. In EC, it isn't just "Sniper Shottys" or Planetside 2's version of "alternate configurations of the same gun", there are far too many unique attributes in each faction's arsenal to say that one SM bolter is better than one CSM bolter (not to mention all of these weapons will be brought to bear upon each other because there will be anywhere from 10 to 2000 people fighting over a plot of land at any given point in time).
