Actually, half of this forum is two guys saying they don't like it and everyone who reads the posts disagreeing with them and then the cycle continuing. I don't mind one way or the other, someone else chose the 16 other sub factions without my expressed approval, why should I complain if that happens with 4 more? And at the end of the day if you are a fan of the IP as a whole and not simply one chapter/clan/whatever like I am, it doesn't matter who it will be because it will be awesome no matter who gets added. I admit I will be aiming to get a founders pack, as this will be the first game I have every done that for, but even if I wasn't I understand the need to have a certain level of control over your voting pool. As for the details in the newsletter, nothing but awesome, finding out its weekly newsletters is awesome, seeing that level of detail in a pre alpha when I have only seen it in 'open beta' before (admittedly I have only played one open beta, so I can't claim to be an expert in levels of detail) Maybe I should put it this way, at this stage you are lucky to get concept art or a cinematic video out of a production team (and the cinematic has no direct bearing on how the game is going to go). To get what some games (sadly) would consider completed arenas in pre alpha is awesome. Knowing that it looks like sooo many members of this team, male or female, have an interest in the IP is awesome. TL;DR Everything is awesome
err if they cant affort a $40 game they probably shouldn't be playing video games or warhammer minuturs in general.
the founder financing the game the founder decide something about the game. I don't se why is a bad things. theorically if i buy game workshop and bE i can decide all.
And if you decide to spend money and become a Founder only so you can vote and decide things about the game, there's something wrong with you. Voting is only a bonus when you become a Founder.
and why someone that we don't know if will play "my" game must vote? why someone that can create multiple account should vote more time? founder don't decide all decide only some little things, game workshop give a list of 3-4 name ( game workshop don't want black templar in the game for example) and the founder will choose.
Jesus christ guys, it's not like anyone had a saying on the first four subfactions announced, most devs don't do a voting system at all, they just choose themselves what they think is best, be happy that even at least a small part of the community will have a saying on who they want to see added next.
Okay I think we have reached the limit of the conversation on whether or not founders choosing the extra sub factions is okay or not, lots have said its okay, lots and lots, like to the point where one person said one thing and then there is three pages of people disagreeing with that one guy. Is there a different, constructive direction we can take our discussion in now that this topic has been bled dry.
