I'm enjoying the game but it's obviously not finished. A bunch of weapons are missing stats and many weapon mods don't update the stats for the weapon they're attached to so you don't know how much of a benefit you're getting. legendary weapons are $10 reskins of existing weapons that can't be modded, in other words they're even worse than their normal equivalent. There is a ton of balancing that still needs to be made and bugs to be fixed. People who jump into the game with no prior knowledge are going to see that stuff and rate it accordingly.
Let's dissect this one for example. It got quite a number of likes. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197967626603/recommended/375230/ He's got one Pro point which basically says "this game is great"! Then he goes with a wall of text on the Cons which range from "i can hit shit with a bolter" to "The graphics are really weird." (while also previously stating "The aesthetic on the whole is pretty good."). So may be I'm getting this wrong?
Yes i use my own experiance but then i scale it down to what i think a new player can earn. Its still easy imo. Your problem is you want everything given out on a plate for no effort.
Hehehe some ppl I could call fanboys ask me and others who dare to criticise ECwhat are we doing in the forums if we don't like the game. I say, forum is more fun than playing EC so don't ask us, ask yourself what you are doing here instead of playing your beloved masterpiece Guys, seriously there's a lot of testing to be done for console players, Bandai Namco is counting on you
I just started this game a few days ago. An ork because I have loved orks since I started with TT Warhammer. I have been trying hard to give it a chance. Its just not fun! I just get LOLWTF steamrolled as a new player is just NOT fun! The Eldar are just stupid OP and Marines on either side just laugh me off. They do not even fear an ork charging them with an electro ax...they do not even dodge! I have 30 hours now, and yes I need to learn to play, but even when I get the drop on someone...lock on and charge up a melee attack he laughs it off. Guess I will try back when its more balanced.
Winning a game takes a considerable amount of effort already. It might be easy for an experienced player like you (i assume you play chaos too), but for a new player who doesn't even know how classes work, he will struggle a lot. "My problem" is not that i want everything given out on a plate for no effort, like you just assumed in your post, my problem is, paying in order to get important things on a plate with no effort is wrong for a 50$ game.
Yea we need to clear this up right now, unless you're an Eldar only player (because their visual customisation ain't all that) if you spend RTC on the weapons and not visual customisation pieces you dun fucked up sonnn.
