As a shield bro you can take a power mace, shield, grenades, and a medkit all in the same load out. Put a apothecary behind you and its pretty hard to die unless the apothecary goes down first. You can take a medkit, chain sword and no grenades as a MoN. If you want a power weapon you have to lose the medkit. Keep this in mind when you look at incoming MoN or even GA. And i think people are forgetting how instant the healing is compared to sorcerer. A MoN goes down in a big fight and its super obvious whos healing him. A GA goes down in a big fight an apothecary can scoot by him and give him a pat on the back and bam hes back up with full hp and regen.
Well in my experience, besides the effectiveness of flanking, a lot of the reason the Mark of Nurgle works out so well is that often the other guy simply misses most of his shots, so maybe he did empty half a magazine, but I only got like 4 hit indicators. This is even more the case when you manage to burst into a big group, just chop and roll and it's hard for them to shoot you without doing more harm to eachother. Plenty of times I've been down 75 or 90 percent on health, but you know, health steal. So it would give the illusion that there's more health than there actually is. But whatever, they're nerfing it slightly, I'm sure the same people will still be crying OP when they're still getting killed, because the same principle applies to a Raptor once you close distance. Not all the time, but often enough.
I'm far more concerned about the Impossible Stair at Torias B point. Please tell me that's on the patch.
This is a huge issue that not alot of people take into consideration about the MoN. Almost in every thread about them being op i hear the same argument of them being able to close the "gap" and get into melee range. But like 90% of the people saying that cant shoot for shit. Or when they miss they decide to try to fight the MoN with a combat knife and lose. Giving the MoN more hp. Instead of fighting them back step them and keep shooting? They cant regen life if they are not feasting on your flesh. But then that depends on peoples aim being good. And telling space marines that a MoN beat them because they cant aim gets peoples jimmies rustled.
earlier tonight I encountered a shieldbro, since i suck balls at melee I fel back on my usual tactic: leg it. shieldbro kept chasing me, hungry for a kill, so i decided to run in a pattern in the vicinity of a friendly rhino and soon enoguh some buddies spawned who downed him by shooting him in the back. gheheh works everytime for me. this is always how i deal with shieldbros:shoot him from a distance, run, run towards friendly spawnarea while laughing like a retard in anticipation. I'm a filthy coward, sue me.
This is exactly what I've been telling people. S-GA are the easiest class in the ENTIRE game to kill, considering he has NO RANGE.
