Not just EC. ARMA 3, Ark and GMOD also so far. One user there said it was due to ddos attacks on steam due to bans.

This is a problem with Steam, not directly the game.

The ddos thing quite possibly but its not BS other games have been experiencing the same issues since yesterday. One hell of a coincidence if it ain't. Maybe stop blaming the devs and twisting your panties into a knot before you know the whole story?

This is a verified problem with Steam and has now happened for 3 days in a row. There is nothing we can do.

Game has just started working again for me now.
