I see your point Ulfgard, and couldn't agree more. I THINK that the game and any items purchased through this site will all go to BE. They teamed up with Steam (hypothetically ) so that the game would be available to more people. Steam has a huge base of people who log in regularly, and it is only right that they get a cut of people that they bring into the game, simply by having it available. That was my interpretation. I doubt we will get clarification as this was apparently part of the big Dec 19 announcement and Brent accidentally let it slip earlier. Could be that they just don't have ink on paper and didn't want to talk about until it is official.
And this is why Brent wasn't supposed to say that on the stream. I can just imagine Brent being dragged by his hair to the principles office for a stern talking to about the need to avoid inciting a riot. lol

So Orkses use Steam to fuel the WAAAAGGGHHHH!! now? I have no issue with this, pull in all the free users, give me something to shoot at... And I'm happy they are doing it like this. Because *$%# Zenimax Online, they made TESO on steam after release and essentially locked out current players and Imperial Edition buyers to use it unless they bought a new steam copy of the game that was not tied to their other account... was a #*&$ move by ZO$...
