Sorry but that's simply bullshit. Name me a single 50€ game that released with content still as placeholders. We know that no dev play Eldar. They simply don't give a shit about that faction and probably prefer working on the others and regularly forget to work on ours.
Serious question, do any of the devs play Eldar? I mean, I don't think I have seen them once play Eldar on live during their streams.
No they don't. Most play LSM or Chaos and some have Orks as second characters and a couple mainly play Orks. But no Eldars. Most of the feedback they get on Eldar are because we have some moderator playing Eldar who relay them bg or glitches.
In dev stream they said they worked in "alphabetical" order starting with chaos, then I said the have basically done the reverse. Also I never defended devs or talked about placeholders... I think the devs have given up on Eldar at this point since they generate minor profit... not like they culled the faction themselves for it to reach this point.
I had a game or two with a char named Ployer-BHVR or something, so if that's an actual employee & not a fake then they do actually use the faction on live. Ironically I've never seen an enemy BHVR player, one day achievement...... one day!
Well maybe he's an artist or a community manager. There are more than coding people/project lead of course.
I joined in this adventure back when it was to be more adventurous for one reason only and that was to play as Eldar other than Dow series and battle fleet gothica I have not played any other 40k game on computer for one reason of I want to play Eldar. And God dam it sort out my dark reapers
