State Of The Crusade Iv

  1. Its not really about the player numbers Murtag. Theres going to be 4 factions and without an open world we wont see them in a more fluid way. The fights are going to all be 1v1 affairs. Now there is some talk about an alliance system, but it all seems very awkward to me. The best overall solution is to have some semblance of an open world so that dynamic events can occur naturally. Numbers would be fun too. Its hard to run an army when you only have 15 other guys in the fight with you.

  2. Big multifaction open world fighting has already been done. Its not impossible. I just dont understand why BE cant just knock this thing out. Even if they have to buy the forgelight engine that powers Planetside 2.
  3. People should read the contract before hitting yes, oh wait...I forgot no one except myself and perhaps a rare happenstance low number of people actually read the terms and agreement before saying SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Anyone is within their right to voice a complaint but feigning ignorance as a Founder about the product not being what you wanted is your own problem because you didn't read the full agreement.

  4. You know you guys are entitled to receive a full refund if you ask for it, don't you?
  5. Can we please stop aggressively telling people to get refunds? Just let 'em vent. They're entitled to not like every decision that Behavior makes. Just ignore their posts if the negativity is getting to you. That's what I do.

  6. in this point yes i agree with you since they just wanna vent, but sometimes you have those guys who cry for 4 pages they want a refund but never get one and just start saying things without any ryme or reason that you should tell people to stop and get one already
  7. you think planetside 2 is going to sell there secretes that are giving them a complet and total market advantage in there corner of the gamining market?... i find the chances of that happen very very low, unless they sell it for such a high amount that any company buy it would be in debit for ages

So what I'm reading from all this is that the original team couldn't deliver on the vision of Eternal Crusade that they were selling, gave up, went elsewhere and now the new team is trying to salvage this train wreck however they can.

Very glad I saved myself $50 and refrained from buying into the early hype.

why people get hurt in the personal feeling when people don't like the dev decision? it's called feedback, and the feedback is negative for many people. devs write state or the crusade send newsletter and press release for get a more large feedback instead of only the forum feedback where there is people that want to force the other to be optimist or the people that scream "I told you from day one the game is doomed doomed nobody want to listen me i've told you since the announcement".

some time people like decision, sometime dislike: it's nosense when there is people that like ALL decision or DISLIKE all decision.

probally when they announce the gsme engine there will be a lot of positive commens and few negative comment.

if the plan get a lot of negative feedback and the players don't accept it the answer is simple: they have to rethink the plan, to modify or change something (because nobody want to sabotage his own project).
