The translated: "The heroic classes are a great source of questioning (and sometimes anxiety), including their balancing, do you have any answers? We now focus more on the elite classes on the heroic classes but the current direction for heroes is as follows. There will be two types of heroic classes: Heroic class support and heroic combat classes (while the Elites tend to fight like the type of Terminators). The first will be interesting when you have a well-coordinated team, as well as what type of hero is not really more powerful individually, it makes much more powerful team. This creates an interesting situation where a player becomes a priority target for opponents. To keep the advantage, his team must be able to protect him. The heroes are fighters for their individual actually more powerful than the basic classes and can be used to concentrate some impact combat. But we must not forget that the heroic classes at a cost of Use including in the army, just as is the case for vehicles. After all is a matter of adjustment between power and the cost of each heroic class and each vehicle." Terminators mentioned to this day in the interviews. Now i can honestly say im utterly confused with the whole topic.

we have to be realistic, this is a WAR game after all, asking for fancy and fluffy stuff at the current state of development is not cool. imo the community should encourage the BE staff to work only in the core of the game: COMBAT and the basic classes of the 4 factions. Once this part of the game is polished enough and fun and if the game is sucessful financially, then we talk about new units like termies and factions and spaces for socialization.
Which is what Destiny did. Then people got bored lost interest so when they started bringing out the extra stuff no one cared anymore. I agree that core should be first priority so the game is balanced and bug free but if that is all they bring out then call it Destiny 40K and watch history repeat.
This is as far as I can tell the best way to go, also the most practical; the hypetrain's gotta deliver, so get it playable for people asap, things like goddedication, terminators etc are not crucial, so they can wait for the first big update. Think about what we, the average gamer really want? Get it out in the most basic version (classwise I mean) so people can dig in. The other things will be something we can look forward to once the updates start coming in.
"Base Support Class" I'd been under the impression Termies were meant to be Elites for months. And yea, everything I'd seen had it go from yes, to maybe not, and here in this very thread is the first time I've seen it as a most likely no.
we're just talking launch here, they wont be there at launch, for me thats not a big deal at all. its not like they are cancelled all together, lets keep some perspective.
I'm not offering an opinion on the subject, but it's been asserted several times here that Termies were never planned for launch, which is a load of bull.
As much as I want to play EC asap I want the game to succeed long term. I fail to see how rushing the release will do so, releasing a half cocked game will mean people will lose faith, get bored and stop playing just like with Destiny. Personally I think to wait for a complete game with all the fun features and have long term success while others want nothing but the bare bones core gameplay (like destiny). But no matter the direction the devs take I'm sure they will do there best to give us quality as soon as they can.
You misunderstood: I dont want them to rush, just release the game with the basic classes and the factions, and then things like terminators etc later on. There has to be a reason why those features now wont be ingame at time of launch, and I say: fine with me, as long as there's not too much more delay, and as long as the game itself isnt halfarsed. Also people who play destiny...well..i kinda dont feel sorry for them.
