The FAQ has now been modified, reviewed, rewritten and re-reviewed by 5 leads on the team. Now we have a guy called Ivan that needs to make sure it's not all in Icelandic.
Also Ivan keeps saying Squats delayed by a year. I want to know if that means a year from now or from launch? I mean its like their trying to do something that's never been done before. Can't they predict all the coding, balance and design problems that are going to crop up? Its like they have had to adapt their initial plans due to unforseen problems. Since when did that start happening in games development?
Terminators and dreads were never confirmed so they are a hope not s promise. Although I would like terms even if I don't use them.
Still states that the game is coming out Late 2015. So unless this is some elaborate surprise for everyone hidden in plain sight, the FAQ needs another look-see.
But what Grigdusher said is true, Who is buying the game the Dev's or the Fan? The Dev's get the game anyway so its the fans and it would be foolish to ignore the people you are trying to sell too. As a compromise and a way my argument is constructive instead of just ranting maybe the personalized room could be just the background of the load out screen instead of a nice 3d interactive room and the ship/base could be a standard layout/s with blank spaces for purchasable upgrades i.e. war room, tech shop & ect that will save time and money while adding to the social aspect.
Ships should be added, but after launch, when the game is up and running. When I play MMORPGs, I sometimes don't want to play the game itself, but rather be in its world. In standart MMOs, we have cities that allow you to do it. Here, ships will probably fulfil this role. Like Nathan said, the FAQ was updated, but now Ivan needs to do *something* for it to be published.
