Dear Nathan, I am really happy you made things clear to everyone and we see once again a progress in development. Perhaps I am the only one (I dont think so), but in the past few weeks and month when Miguel left EC, I was a bit afraid If it was the best decision to invest in this project. Not only because a new management was introduced, but also you kept things quiet about the further ongoing. Once again I am awaken and full of enthusiasm. Honestly your "I give zero fucks, trust me because I'm the best and so is my team" approach really works. For some reason it instills confidence haha. I'm confident at least that EC will be made to the best of the teams ability!
I sure hope that if at any point some sort of cosmetic "pet" mechanic gets incorporated, we get to see Warpy and Toes in-game.
It makes me quite sad to think that one of our fellow crusader had the felling that he or she needed to stay anonymous to speak up his or her doubts/worries/views and opinions as long as it respect the forum rules. I believe that crusaders should voices up what they feel need to be voiced but that the same time jumping to conclusion too fast usually just mess up things even more. I believe that bE is a great company extremely close to the EC community and that if needed they would surely give back founder's money if the end product is not up to the expected standard. The gaming industry is changing its business model. Companies can't produce serial garbage anymore. Gamers are getting picky,getting wiser with their money and are getting bored at a alarming rate. They are also getting older, with less time to spend on games. Quality is go longer a nice title (aliens colonial marines anymore?).Its playability, cost, entertainment,execution, immersion and many more things. The industry have every interest to listen the consumers. Can they include everything asked? Oh hell no! What they can do is see the general pulse and go with that.Then add some things here and there alone the way, some new features to keep your consumers and some other features to get more consumers. But again most of the new players will get in because of other players who happen to be playing a game that they enjoy. So crusaders , speak up and stay classy. Remember, you have nothing to lose and everything to win.
You are right. Nobody would get banned for a post where someone dislikes something what we're doing (I have empirical evidence after having finished the forums this morning). I even answered him as best as I could, even though it hurt what he said. Besides, nobody can hide from us, we know the true identity of everyone that registers. I mean, we might not be a bank but nobody works the warp like us.
