Corvettes, Frigates and Mecha Flit around the entire area, while the cruisers and the Splinter destroyer fired from prepared battle-lines, the Universal Cannon looming behind the Splinter battle-group, a deadly reminder of the stakes of this mission. It seemed to be a stalemate, but not by much. The paltry escort group of UTC mecha, it seemed, had not been enough for the Destroyer to deploy all of its capacity. Most ship guns were focused on the melee of the smaller craft. Light and Heavy Cannon shots filled the space between battle-groups. The StarRunner jumped in behind the UTC battle-group, and again immediately sprung into action. Gunners trained their expertly-calibrated guns into the battle and fired. Troopers began to launch from their bays, and orders were given to the crew. "Boarding crew, make directly for the Hangers on the gun, marking on HUD now! Yalei took the lead in front of everyone, her combo-shield a brilliant defense against the cannons that would be coming from the front. She would lead the charge, the rest spreading into a small cone behind her. Ioren took her left side, his tower shield ready to deflect any stray shots and sword ready to cut any who dare come close. Crow took the other, plasma cannon daring the Splinter to show themselves. Sergeant Gorgon and Dunni took position behind, leaving spots for Kyras and Vesk in-between them, directly behind Yalei. The rest of the team were free to take position wherever they'd do the most good.
