Please, how do you feel about me? Do you want me? Do you want this child?" She seemed insecure, and scared. < @MetalDog4 > Kylei blushed hard as she ate her crab. After his own heart? Is he hitting on me? He... is cute, though. "I... would really appreciate it, if you would help me. Well... tonight is poker night, and I would love if you'd stay and join us? Nothing big, just for fun. We make some silly bets, but that's about it." < @WanderingJester > The package Kelley ordered would be transported by light-wave, and would be received by the next day. After about half an hour, Morain starts to stir, and looks at Kelley sleepily. "Hey. You... really know how to make me feel good, Kelley. But I need to go check on my team, they'll be down in a meeting room. Would you come with me, please? I know Williams would appreciate it, too." She asks, getting up and dressed without any kind of show.
Connor smiled, then remembered that he should probably meet with Commander Yilli at some point. "I would love too, as long as I wouldn't be missing my meeting with Commander Yilli that is." He stood up, gathering his dirty dishes as he did so. "Since you cooked this wonderful meal, the least I can do is the dishes for you."
"Hey. You... really know how to make me feel good, Kelley. But I need to go check on my team, they'll be down in a meeting room. Would you come with me, please? I know Williams would appreciate it, too." Kelley smiled and begin getting dressed himself. "Sure thing babe. Let's go." When they both had clothes on they left for the meeting room, arm in arm.
An eyebrow was raised "Yalei, you know me by now. If I had an issue with the either of you, I would have said something. So yes" he smiled softly "I love you both."
< @MetalDog4 > "Thank you. I'll set up the table for the game." Soon enough, a few other mechanics came in. "Guys, this is Connor. He's a new rider, and he'll be joining us tonight." Some of the guys give questioning looks, and one is openly leering at Kylei. Kylei grabs a few beers from the fridge, and the games begin. [Late in the night] "Ha! That was a good one, Kylei. Now, I have a bet. If you lose this hand, you must spend the rest of tonight with whoever wins." The man named Derek spits out drunkenly. He was the one who was leering at her earlier. The other men, startled and less drunk than him, look at Kylei, who is blushing furiously. "Ah ah ah, you know the rules, it's my turn to bet, so we must all abide by it. Kylei looks scared, but deals out the cards nonetheless. Her hands shake as she looks at her cards. [Feel free to win with a super-bluff, or whatever you want] < @WanderingJester > As they arrive in the meeting room, several good humored smiles and chuckles are seen and heard. Two men exchange a credit chip. Williams sees them, and shakes her head slowly. "Men, this is Loren Kelley... My boyfriend. I just brought him here to observe, and if he has any suggestions, he is welcome to make them. Now, first on the agenda in emergency situations..." [Feel free to emote as you like] < @Xanxas > "Thank god... you finally said it. We... should start getting ready for our child. You should learn how to be a father... and I need to learn how to be a mother. And then we need to... oh. I feel... sleepy." Yalei says, leaning up to Kyras and snuggling in. "They told me I needed sleep even more now, but when you were so hurt... I couldn't sleep." Her eyes drift closed, and she falls asleep on his lap. [Emote as you like]
Connor looks at his hand. That leering fellow had been on his nerves all night, getting drunk and making wildly inappropriate comments. He had him now though. He kept his face straight as the bets went higher, daring him to keep it going until he was out of money. The leering man showed his hand and....a pair of threes. Connor smiled and winked at Kylei as he unveiled his hand. Triple Aces.
Kyras smiled softly as he looked down upon his most precious person sleeping soundly upon his lap. He tried to move his arms up to stroke her hair, but sighed in disappointment as he felt they were to weak. Instead, he had the Spyder help him carry her back to her room and tuck her in, turning to go but then hesitating. He went back and placed a kiss on her brow, before shutting the lights and closing the door. When he returned to his room, he had Fredrick start repairing the veteran Wraith from the last mission before he had another SCARAB open and project a search for parenting tips and tricks. It was late, and he was feeling tired, but that was fine. He had a feeling that sleep wouldn't have come to him that night anyways.
OOC: Going to make this short, though I am revitalized by Endless Waltz's theme song. "Men, this is Loren Kelley... My boyfriend. Kelley watched as Morain gave her little speech/instructions to those under her command. She really has grown a bit. Still she hangs on to him like he's her personal teddy bear. He shrugged, maybe in a strange way he was. When she finally finished she took his arm again and they both headed out. He looked at her once more. "Anywhere in particular you want to go?"
< @WanderingJester > Morain checked the time. It was about 17:00 Terran time. She smiled. "Game time, Loren." She said as she literally pulled him back to their quarters. She pushes Kelley down onto the couch and starts up her game system. "Let's try this again" She tells him, and starts the FRAME simulation game again, although she actually teaches Kelley. Somewhat. [Time to emote and react here if you want] They played until late in the night, finishing a cooperative campaign at around 23:00. But Morain wasn't done. She pulled Kelley into a kiss, bringing him over to their bed. He wouldn't wake up again until the next morning, when another V-mail alerted him that this package was ready. < @MetalDog4 > The lecher groans when he sees your hand. He looks ready to accuse you of cheating, but the others seem done. They grab him by the arms and drag him out, giving one last worried look at Connor and Kylei. She smiles and waves them off, but as soon as they leave she starts to cry, walking up to Connor and falling into his arms. "P-please don't..." she sobbed, hands gripping and twisting her pants. "I'll do anything else you want... just not that. please..." < @Xanxas > But sleep can claim whoever it wants. Kyras would awaken to multiple things going on at the same time. Frederick had finished the wraith, and had given it some electrum plating, even stronger than the normal plating, as well as three-clawed arms. Fitting for such a veteran machine. In addition, his search had turned up multiple good repositories for parenting advice. But even beyond that, the SCARAB assigned to Yalei had... disturbing news. She was asleep, but her heart rate was high, as was her adrenaline levels. [Don't forget to emote here] Should he go check, Kyras would find his lover in a cold sweat, tossing and turning in bed. She was whimpering and shaking. Still asleep, but obviously having a bad time at it. "Kyras! NO!" She screamed in her dreams.
Connor shook the hands of the mechanics he had just met as they left with their friend in tow. That one is going to cause problems later. Particularly if he...oof. Kylei threw herself in his arms as soon as the door was shut. "P-please don't..." she sobbed, hands gripping and twisting her pants. "I'll do anything else you want... just not that. please..." "Don't worry Kylei, I just met you and I had no interest in doing that with you. Yes you're a very attractive woman, but I'm not going to do that with someone I just met because I won it in poker game, I wanted to puke when he made that bet. Besides the bet only said that you have to spend the rest of the night with whoever wins right? It didn't define how you spent the night together at all. And I'm not exactly tired at the moment either, so would you like to go for a walk? Maybe show me some more of the ship?"
