< @Shadhunter > "I sure hope so." Muttered the Mechanic, as he picked up the Scattered Electronics "Oh... NO..." He cried out as he pulled out a broken Holo-sphere. Bannoi sighed, got up and put a hand on the shoulder of the young man. "Hey, it's fine, we have plenty of those. Just... Be more careful." For some reason his voice had gone soft. "Bishop, I appreciate the help, but we got this."
Bishop nodded. "Alright well if you're sure." He stands up and makes his way back to Archangel. "Auriel, would you mind running a few diagnostics." "Already started." She replied. Bishop grinned. "And that's why you're the best."
< @Shadhunter > The diagnostics ran well, and everything turned out fine, except for one Item. His drone system showed as disabled and locked down. The Target painter did need to be attuned a new team targeting routine as well. This, of course, was routine for such a device after being transferred, but to have a whole system locked down was quite unusual.
"I am Sergeant Arcadia of the UTC infant-... Im Enyo." the man said with a embarrassed expression. He forgot he technically didnt have that rank or in the battle group anymore. He was a Rider of the UTC and would have to get used to it. "Im actually looking for my FRAME. I am here to bring it into battle, but they needed someone who was not a kid still wet behind his ears for combat. So here I am, I was told its name was the Star Catcher. And I doubt the name was a coincide with the ship" Enyo explained, still actually looking for the mech.
< @Xaphen > "Star Catcher, huh? Hey Pa!" Yelled Dunni "What!?" "Is this FRAME called Star Catcher?" He indicated the closest FRAME "Yeah!" "Cool, Thanks!" With that, Dunni turned back to Enyo "Well, there you are. You found it yourself. I've always thought that Riders, the SOULs and the FRAMEs share some kind of bond. Maybe that's what led you to it?"
"Huh, maybe." Enyo said before climbing into the mech's open head that was his cockpit. It held a chair and several links that would have to come on later for him to control it. As he sat down on the main seat, Beta appeared to greet him. "Welcome back, Sergeant Enyo Orion Arcadia. Are we taking part of a fight? This Frame is primed and is combat ready when need be." The burning ball of fire said to him in its demonic voice. It's hologram of course just being a Hologram as it's type was still in development and didn't support sculpting yet. So beta would not receive a shape until it was out of development, but Enyo hoped his voice programming would be fixed before anything else. It really did make him uncomfortable. "No, nothing is important is happening now. Just coming in to say hello and check out the frame again, we might actually just go for a practice run if you think you are ready." Enyo replied before chuckling at the thought of his AI telling him no. "Please hook up to the mainFRAME to begin control of the Frame. Then we can begin the Slaughter." Beta said before his hologram faded away. "Right..." Enyo nervously replied before he hooked up to Star Catcher.
< @Xaphen > [OOC: usually FRAMEs are controlled standing, but I'll say that, since it is a Prototype, the whole of its systems have not been fully installed, so you control with pure mental commands... if that is alright with you] Hooking into the Star Catcher for only the second time was still mentally taxing. Enyo's nose began to bleed a little, and a cacophony of data streamed into his head. Eventually it slowed down enough for him to gain the information that all systems were calibrated and operational.
"It appears the targeting system needs a few fixes, nothing I can't take care of. But..." Auriel stopped. "But?" Bishop asked. "The Drone system is currently disabled and under lock. I don't think I can unlock it." Bishop sighed. "Of course..." With that he began looking for Bannoi.
As the barrage raged around him, one or two shots actually managed to land on him. They actually managed to carve a bit into the already dented armor of the FRAME before finally stopping. It made the FRAME look even more battleworn, which was just the way Kyras liked it. Sure, it scratched off all the paint, but these minor wounds Kyras considered badges of honor, and made the FRAME look much older than it actually was. Still, such a slight could not be further ignored. With a scoff, he turned the full might of his canons upon the remaining enemy. Four quickly fell to the surprise laser blitz, and another two vanished in a blast from his Rod, but the remainder seemed to have learnt their lesson and frustratingly stayed far apart and dodged rapidly. Just as he prepared for a second attack run, he heard Freya over the comms. "Oh joy, more friends!" chirped the ever cheerful rider. "She seems to be in trouble though, and that evildoer looks really strong! We should help her out." Of course, Seryu was a bit more focused on the situation at hand and left Kyras torn. He could go to the new friend who seemed to be in need of aid and fight the strong guy, or annihilate the fools who DARED compare their severely lacking Dakka to his. Decisions decisions....
< @Shadhunter > [OOC: gonna try and speed this up just a bit] Bishop would find Bannoi sitting over with the Mechanic from earlier. "Hmm? Ya need sumthin'?" When the problem was explained, he shook his head. "Standard procedure. We have to disable the system and inspect the drones for any orders or tracing software from any non UTC forces. We don't want the position of a Prototype Carrier to be transmitted, do we? Don't worry, it'll be ready be the time we set off."
