< @WanderingJester > They had arrived at Morain's quarters. "Honestly, there is not much more to tell. The UTC has not completely accepted Technomancers, but we're getting there. One of the Alleged reasons for the Splinter conflict was the attempts to equalize Off-Breed humans, Technomancers as well as Anthromorphs." Tears stood in her eyes. "You've seen my files. You know how poorly I was treated... I could've died, just because of some stupid Bigotry."

"Do not worry, you will not be treated that way ever again." Not while I'm here, he silently added, as he took a look around the room. "It pains me that certain personnel are still being treated according to something they have no control over rather than their merits and records. The UTC seriously reduce its potential and capabilities because of this."
< @WanderingJester > Morain smiled gratefully at Kelley. "Is that not what you did with Michelle? You sent her to me because I would know how she felt. Same with this child. Not that I think Williams minds. She been very happy. She even has a few favorite cannons. She talks to them a lot... They're very gentle, despite their use."

He looked at Morain. "Yes, the UTC military, any military with competent commanders, has no place for bigotry of any kind, especially in war. One must seize every asset available to us during such a conflict to attain victory, and while I am not naive enough to think that orders and doctrines can eliminate prejudices and create absolute equality amongst the troops, the officers and those who give command can cultivate a culture where overt and subvert ostracism of valuable personnel due to characteristics which they have no control over is not tolerated amongst the common soldier. That is where the UTC military should be headed. I have attempted to do my part by my actions to contribute to that."
< @WanderingJester > "I see" Morain said, still smiling. "Well, make yourself at home. I'll set up the system. Its actually connected to the UTC archive, so we have a lot to choose from. Some real gems, too." [Go ahead and make a game(s), emote playing it/them with Morain and, if you would, be a worse gamer than she is. She plays plenty and is quite skilled. After that, go ahead and suggest somthing else.]
"I see. Well, make yourself at home. I'll set up the system. Its actually connected to the UTC archive, so we have a lot to choose from. Some real gems, too." Morain grabbed a hold of Kelley's hand, and before he could protest, pulled him next to her on the couch. They both faced the large screen on one of the walls as Morain produced two controllers and gave one to Kelley. Unsure, the rider grabbed a hold of it, examining the thing with a puzzled look on his face. "There is so many buttons on this thing, what do they all do?" Morain winked at him. "You'll just have to find out for yourself won't cha? Now let's play! You should be pretty good at this." The game turned on and the screen showed the main menu. It was a FRAME simulation war game (OOC: Think Dynasty Warriors Gundam) and soon they were both selecting a FRAME to control. Kelley browsed through the selection. "Hey, that is not fair. Fate's Edge is not available to choose." Morain gave him a look and teased. "Well you did just build the thing, and it isn't exactly public knowledge that it exists is it?" She added on to what she said as she selected one of the latest UTC destroyer FRAMEs, the Equalizer, "And it would be super overpowered anyways in this game." Kelley shifted his mouth to the side. "Yeah yeah..." He grumbled and selected the Stryker FRAME, Killer's Bane. Morain giggled and started the match. Within the course of a few matches, it was evident that Kelley wasn't very good at video games. Even his high adaptability wasn't able to properly translate the controls in his hands to the screen. Though his eye-hand coordination prevented him from being shut down by Morain every match, he still lost almost every match. Morain giggled at how bad the FRAME rider was at a FRAME piloting game. Kelley soon gave up and they switched over to a coop mode. But after a few battles, it was still Morain who was carrying the team. "C'mon, how are you so bad at this? You're a FRAME pilot!" Kelley started to protest back. "This game does not reflect actual piloting at all! None of the controls transfer over!" Morain waved her hand dismissively. "Blah blah blah. I didn't think I'll see the day when Loren Kelley made excuses for himself." Kelley, caught in the moment, stuck a tongue out at her, which made Morain giggle even more. After barely winning the three sided war campaign against the rebels and the Treize Confederacy, the two put down the game. Kelley looked at Morain, and said. "You hungry? Want to go down to the mess hall and grab food? Or get it delivered up here and catch a movie?"
< @WanderingJester > Morain was so happy right now. She had finally had some time with Loren. When he suggested some food, she was absolutely beaming. "How about... we can go get some food, and then I'll show you my FRAME?" She asked excitedly. She hadn't thought about doing that ever since the incident with Veronica in the elevator when they all first met.
"How about... we can go get some food, and then I'll show you my FRAME?" Kelley crunched his eyebrows at this, and asked back. "The food sounds good, but what do you mean your FRAME? Morain, you are not a rider."
< @WanderingJester > Morain simply took his hand and pulled him towards the mess hall. "Well, we'll just see for ourselves, won't we? C'mon, let's go get food!"
"Well, we'll just see for ourselves, won't we? C'mon, let's go get food!" Before Kelley could say anything, the two were already entering the mess hall hand in hand. They walked up to a synthesizer and ordered their food. Kelley got a some pasta with steak and fried mushrooms sauce in it with a cream soda. When they both got their food he looked at Morain. "Should go to your FRAME first to check it out and eat there or eat here first then go to it?"
