The two damaged Canopteks returned to their master, the acanthrite slamming down next to him and the Wraith using its tail to lift him back up. Meanwhile, the attack scarabs were beginning to truly show their worth. They rushed center, tearing out the soft vulnerable bits and sometimes the vital areas of ten soldiers. The wounded men who did not succumb to the scarabs succumbed to the remaining two canopteks. Meanwhile, Fredrick began working on the damaged acanthrite, aiming not to restore it to combat capability, but instead give it its mobility back.
