A comm line opened up, revealing Ioren's face. "Are you feeling better, Loren Kelley? I would like to duel with you, but only if you will duel." [ 90 swordsmen ; Ioren (Boss) ; up to 20 kills ; light-medium wound ] < @Andraina @WanderingJester (Bishop) > As Freya sped off, Sarge flew up behind her, blowing Troopers with his railcannons, he yelled: "Bishop, Unison, get to the hanger! I'll hold them off!" [ ??? Troopers ; ??? FRAMEs ; Make your way to outside the hangar working together ; take 3 light and 1 medium wounds each.]
The only real remaining threat to him (in his mind at least) was the remaining missile troops. They prepared to fire back at him in retribution for their comrades, but Kyras was having NONE of it. He quickly cut them down with the concussive blasts from his rod, but not quickly enough that the final FRAME didn't get off its shots. They managed to strike true, blasting into the PRAETORIAN's right side and heavily damaging one of its canons.
< @Xanxas > At the same time, Yalei finished up her opponents. She went over to Kyras "See? I told you we'd be f-" She suddenly raised her shield, an arrow that seemed to be made of light hit it. She turned and they saw three of the unmanned Damien's. One with a bow, one with two wrist blades, one with Claws identical to Kyras' and wrist cannons. "Brothers, it seems the wench blocked my shot." "Pity, and we were going to be nice and make this quick." "Which is sad, because I've heard that they are a couple now. Who should we make watch as we kill who?" Three identical, slightly-amused voices came from the FRAMEs. Yalei stood between Kyras and the Damiens, shouting "YOU WILL NOT TAKE HIM FROM ME!" [ Sword Damien ; Claw Damien ; Bow Damien ; (All bosses) ; make a strike ]
-Loren Kelley & Veronica- Another baseball bat hit Kelley in the face as a sword struck the head of Fate's Edge. Kelley turned and sliced, cutting apart 3 swordsman behind him as he boosted around, making Fate's Edge looking like it's ice skating as it hovered back and forth, cutting swordsmen apart. One particular attacker swung his sword down, which Kelley shifted to the side and then promptly impaled his torso, exploding the mecha. He turned just to decapitate another two as Fate's Edge faced Ioren's FRAME. "Are you feeling better, Loren Kelley? I would like to duel with you, but only if you will duel." Kelley did his best not to scoff, trying to keep polite as he impaled another mecha. "I would not say better Ioren Kilat, maybe different would be the correct word. Should I come up or will you come down here?" OOC: RESULTS: 10 swordsman destroyed, light wound taken. -Nate Bishop & Auriel- "Bishop, Unison, get to the hanger! I'll hold them off!" Bishop flew by the sergeant and opened comms to acknowledged him. "You got it Sarge." He then spotted Freya up ahead (@Andraina ), and a missile unit readied its launcher at the Lævateinn. "Look out!" Without thinking, Archangel flew in between Freya and the incoming projectiles. Several of the missiles hit Archangel, and Bishop felt a pain in his left arm while shooting several of his own missiles back, destroying the several missile FRAMEs in the process. When the debris cleared, Archangel was missing an arm. Bishop opened a comms channel up to Freya and ask the same question again. "Freya, what is the plan?" OOC: RESULTS: 3 Missile FRAMEs destroyed. Medium wound taken.

Kyras clicked his toungue. Not only was this asshole here again, with the extra none the less, but if what he learned last time was any indication, he would not die if he was killed. Quite irritating that. Even more so, Yalei, she was...acting Kyrasy. That was NOT a good thing. As swag filled and glorious as he was, even kyras knew he was a less than stellar role model. Regardless, there were more pressing matters. He quickly shifted to focus on the sword FRAME, firing its operational canon and both the weapons mounted on his rod at it.
-Loren Kelley & Veronica- "I'd come down there, but I'm afraid that I cannot trust these Troopers to not interfere. I'm sorry, but I'll wait until you finish." Kelley actually scoffed this time. This was never about interfering, it's a tactical move to weaken your opponent before you fight him. He made his reply shortly. "You may not live long enough to regret that decision Ioren Kilat." Kelley switched off the comms to concentrate. Just one power attack, and then he can tone it down to mop up the rest. Yes, just one. Fate's Edge activated the main thrusters, allowing them to emerged from the FRAME's smooth back. Kelley cut his way to the edge of the group before boosting out away from the large group of swordsmen before turning around. Fate's Edge's rider did his best to slow down his breathing and heart rate, then crouched down, readying both swords on each arm. As the swordsmen closed in on him, Kelley looked up and charged. With a split of light Fate's Edge appeared on the other side of the group, and a large line of swordsmen promptly exploded. The biometrics meters were now flashing as Kelley's vitals were near the edge of his tolerance level. Veronica was startled. "Mr. Kelley!" He cut her off before she could say anymore. "I know. Just a bit more." Fate's Edge flashed back into the fray, appearing and cutting individual, scattered swordsmen apart at the blink of an eye. The alarm Kelley had set for himself went off, indicating the safe levels had been passed. Still the rider gritted his teeth and continued, feeling blood shooting into his eyes and pooling in his nose. As the last swordsman get bisected, Kelley went to one knee and saw that he had exceeded his tolerance level a bit. A trickle of blood began dripping down from his nose. He could feel it; he had pushed too hard. The comms came on again. "You ready for the duel now Ioren Kilat?" OOC: RESULTS: 80 swordsmen destroyed, limit breached slightly.
< @Xanxas > His weapons were deftly dodged, and the Blade-wielder rushed forward, only to be shield bashed by Yalei. "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!' She roared, even as she was beset upon by the claw-wielder, blocking him while the Bowman slipped around her shield, releasing an arrow towards her that was barely deflected. "Kyras, go get the data! I'll hold them back!" She spoke bravely, but in her heart she knew that she wouldn't survive alone. I'm sorry, my love... she thought as another arrow flew towards her pilot's chamber... [Whatcha' Gonna do? ] < @WanderingJester (Kelley) > "Of course I am!" Ioren said happily as he leaped to the ground. His weapons deployed, giving him a longsword and a kite shield. "You like? It's new!" He stated, getting into a ready stance, obviously waiting for the first move. [RIVAL FIGHT!]
He continued firing, hoping for a lucky shot. "You do realist that should even one get by while I'm infiltrating I'm a deadman. Furthermore, even if I get the data you will be taken out of the fight and I'll be 1v3, which would result in my immense demise. Besides" she could hear his grin over the comms "I could never leave you alone against them"
< @Xanxas > Yalei's eyes flew open. She dodged the arrow, allowing Kyras a shot at the Bowman, which blew straight through its chest. The bowman fell down, destroyed, while the claw Damien Pried her shield away, a sword finding purchase in her arm. Her left pulled out a pistol, blowing the head off of the Claw, making it fall. "Thanks, Ky... KYRAS!" Somehow, the Swordsman blew past her, knocking away Kyras' arms, before kneeing his pilot chamber. Repeatedly. "KYRAS!" Screamed Yalei, trying so hard to get to him before the chamber was breached.
