"Don't tell the doctors" She giggled. "But he really DOES need you, Seryu. Even if I am his lover... you are his SOUL. Your bond goes deeper than most human's... He would be lost without you." < @WanderingJester > Morain's eyes widened, and she squeezed Veronica closely before pushing away, Smiling wider than she had ever before. "That all sounds great, but how about letting me get dressed first? Some food might be nice as well."
She sighed once more. "That isn't the kind of bind I meant of want and you know it. But, I suppose you are right. There is no real point in getting angry at you. I'll figure something out" the last part was muttered under her breath. "Oh well, we don't have anything better to do, so keki time I guess." She started munching on some of her own. At least she mused, this girl understood both the wonders of Keki and justice. So she guessed it couldn't go that badly in the end.
"That all sounds great, but how about letting me get dressed first? Some food might be nice as well." As Morain pushed her away, Veronica finally realized that she had been holding Morain for far too long for humans to be comfortable with. Letting go, she smiled sheepishly as she turned around when the Lieutenant dressed. Afterwards the two of them headed to the mess hall. Arriving at the mess, Veronica (still life sized) pulled out her leftover digital soup and heated it with her hand, before continuing to eat it as Morain grabbed her own food. They sat down at one of the empty tables, both eating their respective meal and letting the other one begin the conversation.

Morain began, before switching to data speak. {What does this mean? I thought Loren didn't care... no, that's not right. I didn't know he was capable of doing things like this.} She said nervously, chewing on some French toast.
"Veronica..." Veronica looked up, and spoon another mouthful of soup into her mouth. She was glad when Morain switched to data speak, since they can continue the conversation without pausing their meal. The soup, though not necessary for survival, was quite delicious. {What does this mean? I thought Loren didn't care... no, that's not right. I didn't know he was capable of doing things like this.} Veronica blew on a spoonful of soup, before drinking it. [I'm not sure what this means sis. Mr. Kelley's changed somewhat since the last mission, you could tell from how talkative he was last night. But the Mr. Kelley I know is capable of something like this... and so much more. He just chooses not to utilize those abilities, like caring for other people, since they don't suit his goals in mind. But now, I'm not sure what's going on anymore.
< @WanderingJester > {You wouldn't happen to know where he is? I got a message that I was allowed access to Hangar 03, which he commandeered... I'm worried, Veronica.} Morain stood up after Veronica would reply, having finished her breakfast. {Well, let's go get him some food. I'll teach you to braid hair later} she said with a smile.
"Well, erm" he started oh so confidently, looking at the cake munchers. "I guess if you want to, if you feel that way, we could, maybe, go out or something?" He laughed nervously and scratched his head "I've never been in a relationship before, so idk what I'm doing"
< @Xanxas > "I know that one of the observation points has a beutiful view of Y'coren... I'd like to see that." Yalei not-so-subtly hinted. She stood up and hooked her arm about Kyras', laying her head on his shoulder. "Now lead the way." She said mischievously, "You asked me out. This is your responsibility."
"Ahaha, well, err, I'm sure we'll find it eventually" he said as they headed off. Behind them Seryu floated, shedding a single tear. She wanted to be in that position, but still, she smiled, she was happy for them.
< @Xanxas > As they walked off, Yalei held out her hand for Seryu to hold if she wanted. Amazingly, by pure luck (or perhaps this new development had mellowed Kyras just a little) Kyras was able to lead his date directly to where she wanted to go. She squealed with delight, and ran to the window, gazing out at the expanse of the planet below. She stood there for a while, pointing out patterns in the clouds.
