He had a feeling that it wasn't awesome enough yet, so he made a not to fix it up later. Still, it could wait. He had some ideas he wanted to talk to Bannoi about, but he just messaged him instead [OOC: we discussed tho already Va'Thun]. He had a feeling this might take a while. He sighed and slid down the wall, his smile becoming a very sad one. Seryu appeared on his shoulder, and they both looked her in the eyes. "Come on" they said as one "tell is what's wrong"
Taking her words as a plea for some space, Kelley took a few steps back as Hushion's voice came over the intercom. "Heya! So, we can't fix it from here... Is everyone alright?" Kelley cleared his throat, sort of relief that he no longer had to deal with this unknown situation by himself, and replied to Mechanic Hushion's voice. "Yes this is Void Riptide's rider Loren Kelley. I'm here with a Miss Morain Dereso trapped in this elevator. If you guys can't turn it back on electronically, any chance getting a guy down here with a crowbar to pry the doors open manually? We're both fine..." He looked at girl on the ground still crying, "physically, but I think Miss Dereso might be claustrophobic. So if you can get someone down here quickly that would be appreciated."
< @WanderingJester > "Lieutenant Morain? No, she's not claustrophobic... Anyway, I'll be down as soon as I can. Sit tight." With that he was gone, and Kelley was alone again with the crying Morain. Kelley would hear a faint "Please... don't leave..." < @Xanxas > Yalei didn't answer, but Mark looked up. "She is currently feeling a hurricane of emotions. Fear, Sadness, Anger, Hope, Joy and..." He coughed and turned away, stating quietly: "Attraction."
"Well" Kyras said "a lot of those don't sound so good" "Except joy and hope" Seryu chimed in "except those" he conceded "But I can't help you unless you tell me what's wrong. Never the less, I'm here if you need me" at this point his smile turned teasing "attraction tho? Seryu you naughty dog! How dare you steal a maiden's heart like that! I am ashamed to know you" he paused for a second "so THIS is why you were insistent on helping her! You plan on eloping and leaving me and poor mark here all alone" he looked away, obviously fake and over dramatic sniffles sounding from his mouth. Seryu rolled her eyes. "I'm fairly sure she isn't attracted to me, and the only one I'm attracted to is y-JUSTICE, NO ONE OR THING BUT JISTICE" she turned straight up red, like someone had coated her body like someone had doused her in tomato sauce. Kurama had a good laugh at this, and turned back to Yalei. "I'm here for you. Whatever it is that is bothering you, I'm here to help."
Oh so she does have rank. Kelley replied to the mechanic. "Copy." Kelley went back over but didn't start patting her back again. Instead he looked up Morain's records on his digi-pad, specifically in regards to her mental health history and possible psychological trauma. Kelley wasn't sure if he needed to defend himself or not in case the girl snapped. Still no sign of Veronica, though if he were to guess she's not far from them. SOULs can only really stay near their riders or the FRAMEs and while Veronica doesn't mind doing work on the Riptide, she doesn't have a habit of hanging around it without Kelley. Little did Kelley know that his SOUL was also looking up Morain Dereso's records in the dark slightly away from him, though with much less compure as seen with her messed up hair and tear streaked face.

"Oh? Sit? Truly an arduous task lies ahead of me! Without my PRAETORIAN, without my guns and armor, how could I survive!" He chuckles, Seryu projecting herself sitting next to him now "I think the two of us can sit for a bit with a friend. Truly you demand so much of us" The pair leaned back, Kyras against the wall and Seryu against a projected seat. To ask for so little as if it were so much, had she been paying attention? There was nothing they wouldn't do for a(n) friend/ally of justice.
Veronica wiped the tears from her face, then understood why Morain could speak with her directly. It was so obvious! Why didn't she realize this before? Feeling bad now and decided that she needed to at least apologize, Veronica shot a message in a small voice to Morain, though she kept herself hidden. [Morain? I'm-I'm sorry, I didn't know. It's just you're not the first girl who's taken an interest in Mr. Kelley, and in the past they've all tried to get rid of me too, and I can't imagine what I'll do with myself without him...] At the same time Kelley finished reading, and nodded. He went and sat down next to Morain though didn't physically touch her. If anything she was at least a valuable asset to the UTC military, and Kelley can jeopardize that because he doesn't feel like talking to her. He spoke up. "It's a shame that you had to experience those things Miss Dereso, and for that I'm sorry. I am still not sure why you collapse the way you just did, but perhaps something about me triggered a flashback of some sort from your past. I want you to know that that was not my intention and if I can alleviate or augment that sort of trigger being broadcast at you then please let me know and I will change it at once."

I don't... want to be alone..." with that she was able to afford a weak smile. < @Xanxas > Yalei sat there, cuddled up for a while, before saying: "I was never able to really know my parents. They were gone so often." She turned to look into Kyras' eyes "But they told me... to follow my own path. And... I feel that my path is with you." She said in dreamily, as if in a trance. Suddenly her face grew red, and she bolted up quickly. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry... Excuse me!" She cried before running into her room.
