Kelly frowned. This was not what he had wished. Spending time alone with Void Riptide was the closest thing to a vacation that he enjoyed in his service and free time. However if the chief mechanic wishes to have others in the room while he worked on the Riptide, then he'll just relegate them to simple tasks like handing him tools. The rider also thought of how odd that Chief Bannoi didn't answer his question. He looked at Bannoi walking off and called to him. "I'll expect a call then when the parts have arrived Chief Mechanic." Kelley was deep in thought when the girl spoke up again, he refocused his eyes on her. What was her name again? Morgan? Madison? He shook his head, it was of no consequence. He offhandedly replied "thank you" before walking off towards the mess hall, pulling his digi-pad again to review the footage from the simulation. Get some food into his system, then shower and get up early to work out and work on the Riptide, that's the current plan. Veronica in the meanwhile stood on the rider's shoulder as he passed Dereso, looking satisfied but away as the rider began to make his way to the mess hall. She hummed a song happily at their seemingly departing ways with the girl, as she fed the relevant data from the simulation to a splitscreen on the digi-pad, including enemy and ally FRAME statistics, capabilities, weaponry and defense systems.
Agalia sighed floating beside her partner. She was in no danger, but since she knew it was training she let herself go. She just couldn't be outdone by the others. At least she didn't have the opportunity to try that other technique. Glancing at the young man who stayed with her she sighed and materialized herself. She glanced up at him with a small smile, "You know, my partner doesn't see anything but the rebellion's end right now. I don't know your feelings, but I wouldn't waste the feelings in your heart. She simply cannot see a path to her happiness right now."
< @WanderingJester > Geez, he really is thick, isn't he? Good, I like a challenge. Thought Morain as she followed Kelley Through the hall "You know, It's not as if Mechanic Bannoi is really as tough as he seems. You'll probably get to work on your own like you wanted." She then somehow sent a message directly into Veronica's core {I'm not gonna give up. Besides, don't you want him to be happy?} < @Andraina > "I used to think that way myself. It is not a good path to follow." He spoke in a soft voice, smiling shyly. "In fact, that's the reason I'm here. If I can make her think of somthing else, at least for a while, I'll be happy."
Bishop seemed to be enjoying the attention but noticed the blushing woman. Auriel had gone silent for the moment as combat was over and her opinion no longer needed. He approached and waved at her, curious if she'd react or just rather be left alone.
< @Shadhunter > The woman noticed Bishop walking towards her, and she seemed to begin to freak out. She started to fidget, and as Bishop reached her, it seemed she might pass out. "H-h-h-h-h-hi, Mr. Bishop... M-my name is-is... Kylei... Skye..." She stammered out, obviously flustered.
She smiled, "You'd think, but this girl lives in such a delusion I even believe it myself. You have my sympathy. Past experience suggests she'll be out for about One Hour and Seven minutes give or take 160 seconds. Please get comfortable." Apparently the SOUL wasn't about to stop him, just sat there patting her hand.
< @Andraina > The young man smiled, and pulled up a chair. "Well, while we wait, what's your name? I'm Killian Fero, Helmsman of the StarRunner.
"Huh," was Kelley's only reply as he enhanced an image of Titan Killer on his digi-pad, along with the associated statistics with the Sergeant's mecha. Why was this girl following him? Did she want something? Realizing that might be the case, Kelley continued walking and staring at the digi-pad though he did address the girl with more than a one word reply for the past ten minutes. "Miss, is there something I can help you with?" They had finally arrived at the mess hall. On one end one could see Kyras making a mess with all the food he's eating at a table with another rider and his SOUL, on the other end were the synthesizers. If Kelley noticed the other riders, he didn't show it. Void Riptide's rider walked up to a synthesizer, pressed a few buttons for a sandwich, a salad, a protein shake and a fruit cup as well as some light trail mixes and freeze dry fruits with some mineral water bottles. Instantly the meal materialized in front of him and he sat the digi-pad down on the counter. Grabbing a nearby reusable bag for crew members he began packing the food into it to bring back to his room. In the meantime Veronica winced slightly, both in surprise and slight disgust that the Dereso girl could and did directly communicate with her. [We're plenty happy without you thank you very much] she shot back at the audicious girl, though her holographic form remained composed unlike earlier and continued to assist Kelley in learning more and evolving his skill with the feed of information in his digi-pad.
"You see! This is why we must kill all the evil doers! This is why there can be no remorse, no pity. All enemies of the UTC MUST. DIE." Seryu set some pixels at the floor "They aren't even human anymore". Kyras decided to add his two cents to the discussion. "We are in a war. Human or not, they are our enemies now. No matter why or how they came to oppose us, we stand on opposite sides. That is why me and Seryu have to fight. As long as this war continues, more injustice will be committed, and more possible friends will be lost or hurt. Both our meanings are threatened by these rebels, and we cannot rest until. They are gone. Even if your parents are gone, you aren't alone. After all, you have me and Seryu don't ya?" Seryu gave her most encouraging smile while Kyras gave the poor girl a bone shattering hug. Seryu then joined in, though she couldn't actually touch either of them, it mattered to Kyras that she tried. He pulled back and looked Yalei directly in the eyes. "It doesn't really matter that he hasn't been found. As I know well, in the end you cannot run from your sins." His smile became blinding at this point "besides, look on the bright side" he said, mouth full of some form of meat "had that not happened, you likely never woulda been driven to go that far into the military, and then you woulda never met me!"
