Spoiler Almost forgot the obligatory theme song for this mission. https://www.youtube.com/embed/FWO5Ai_a80M
Just as he was about to raise his gloved hand in acceptance of the offered biscuits, the group moved on.Everyone had a part to play in the mission...except Vala.It seems it was too troubles to smuggle past such creatures one noisy, sometimes squeaking, smelly Jawa. Annoyed at the lack of biscuits he received, remembering that he had his only meal in this cycle earlier in the morning.Placing his Ion Carbine in the ground,he stood at the discreet distance from the compound, leaning on his weapon he watched the surroundings, sometimes blinking with his orange glowing eyes, sometimes sniffing the air as a familiar odour was carried by the wind. If they returned with his droid...all the merrier. After all it can hardly be said that Jawa got the hard end of the bargain...and perhaps he`ll see Boba!
~~ Outside Compound - Random Alley ~~ And perhaps sooner than he hoped! In the distance the little Jawa saw Boba jetpack-ing through the sky, firing his blaster at some targets at the ground. It seemed he could need some aid, and perhaps the Jawa could get something out of the big boss such as what his actual intention with the droid is. ~~ Within Compound - Barracks Dancing Room ~~ @Avenging-Angel | @Uriel1339 (aka Urian the super-duper OP Astromech) The Barracks were filled with mixed guards, the two Trandoshans being apparently the only one of their kind. There was another female Twi'lek among them who appeared to be familiar to Na'tala. However the other one seemed to recognize the dancer more than the dancer the guard, as she looked away - honoring that she had remained a slave and not wanting to insult her. However, apparently her attendance was required to not be suspicious. Though the 'dancer' knew this woman from somewhere, from Ry'loth. But from where? The rest of the group were all male. A duros, the two Trandoshans from earlier, three Rodians, a Sullustan and two Humans. They seemed more than excited for the exotic Twi'lek. And it was apparently not uncommon to have dancers, or parties in here. The table in the center that the men sat around was basically a catwalk. In the back of the room were the beds arrayed against each other, each being a bunk with top and lower bed. On the far left were weapon racks, only a single blaster hanging there and a footlocker with most likely smaller blasters, explosives and perhaps some armor. On the right there was a door, most likely to the only bathroom. "Eighty credits per person, pay up!" One of the Trandoshans hissed and collected the money from the round, then handing it off to the Astromech droid who stored it safely within, beeping in acceptance before getting his recorder out. He moved somewhere near the weapon rack in order to get the best viewing angle. ~~ Within Compound - Undetected Jedi ~~ @UnluckyFellow With the jedi having approached, shortly after Nat 'accommodated' the guards, a single Human guard who watched the engineering bay, remained. His mind was weak and the manipulation was not difficult at all. "Borga needs an Astromech. We'd better go fetch one." He repeated and opened the door. It was quite messy in here. All sort of mechanical parts... Was that an engine of a Pod Racer? It would take a while to find the Astromech, the brainwashed guard started to look around for the Astromech as well. ~~ Within Compound - Main Hall ~~ @Vulpas | @Kalle | @Casavay | @GobMaw_HellSmasha The group came into the main hall which was somewhat a small throne room with decorations, guards, the fancy robes, the Duros rose from his chair as the bounty was brought in. Kass recognized the ugly face instantly as that of Porr Ghan, the bootlicker of Borga on Ord Mantell. "Kassy Kassy Kassy...." The Duros started walking up to the bounty hunters and bounty. There were two Gamorreans with heavy axes. "It appears my nice... Soon-to-be-friends here will be quite re-imbursed, since I am sure they had to... Endure your annoyance, no? You always chit-chat so much. So annoying. Borga will be happy to see you.... Once I carbonated you." He chuckled and approached Zuri. "A Chiss bounty hunter? And a pretty one at that! Rare sight, rare sight... Why did you even come from the... Distant regions? Pursuing a career like Uncle Thrawn, I surely hope not? The Empire always means trouble, just like the New Republic... That is I suppose why people like you and I stay neutral in these troubled times." He smiles and nods at the red-eyed predator. "You know.... I can pay you a little extra if you ship Kass for me to Borga. I already have so little people and with the spaceport blown up by some insurgents.... Smugglers got a little bit scared. So what do you say? 75.000 credits in total for delivering Kass to Borga personally? I would pay you 10.000 upfront, and Borga will pay once receiving Kass."
Spoiler: OOC: He is the Lord of Astromechs! The King of Kings among Droids! He is the Messiah of Machineries! (he carries my name, therefore he gets plot-armor, 42 integrated blasters and can do whatever he wants, he is the R2D2 of the group! )
Spoiler: OOC Urian/Scrapper has a +10 to charisma checks The Duros's offer surprised Nex a bit. He was already scrapping his plan to bust Kass out when the man offered 10,000 credits to bring Kass to Borga themselves. Something Kass wanted to do anyway, so he was sure he'd be alright with this reinvision to the plan. After all, the Duros failed to mention when they were to bring Kass to Borga, which meant they were free to do so at their leisure. Loop holes were how you either make it or break it in this line of work. He did mention something called, carbon night, and freezing Kass in it. Nexnip wasn't familiar with the word, but if that was how the Hutts decorated their walls with frozen people then there might be an issue with this plan. But as long as they found out how to unfreeze Kass -and hopefully still be alive- then everythinh should turn out fine. Hopefully. He did a quick nod to Zuri, to confirm what he thought about the offer personally. Anything that would avoid a potential confrontation was a good plan to him. Spoiler: OOC Technically speaking, it'd be highly out of character for any bounty hunter to not accept that deal.
Kai- @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Casavay Kai's eyes Widen from behind his helmet as he heard the offer for smuggling someone, Big offer lots of creds to and possibly a ship, Though it might mean giving Kass up if the ship was wired or had a way for the Hutts to spy on them or had someone aboard it watching them, Though it might get them off this world. "This sounds like a pretty good offer boss I know how to pilot it and get us there what type of ship would we be using?" Kai asked as he was behind Kass and looking to the Duros.
"Well, a charter", Zuri replied with not-too-fake aggravation, using the chance to jab Kass in the ribs again. This was really carthartic. "Lust for money and adventure led me here, soon-to-be-friend", she parroted, "Reps and Imps are nothing but trouble. Exclusivity only means less diversification, which is bad for me in the long run. You know how it is. And they'd sell us out in a heartbeat anyway, am I right?" With effort, she faked a tough smile, a bounty hunter's smile that said 'You're a fellow rogue, I like you'. After all, she'd seen it a few times before, it couldn't be so hard. "I take up your offer, Duros. Show me the ten thousand, and I'll bring him to the end of the world for you. He hasn't done anything but stare at my derriere and insult my intelligence, I'll consider seeing the Hutt grab him part of the reward." "You hear that, Kass? Enjoy what you're getting, because it's going to be the last." Really, really, carthartic.
Dancing Room Na'tala took in the room as she entered, glancing at the bunkbeds just long enough to prevent anyone becoming suspicious, and grinned at those waiting for her, openly leering at the humans. The other Twi'lek in the room stood out among the gathered men though, something about her tickling away at the back of Na'tala's mind, and she partially shrugged out of her bodyglove as she thought about where she might have seen the other woman. Placing her blasters, still in their belt-holsters, and datapad next to Urian Na'tala smiled at the Trandoshan collecting her fee, easiest 800 credits I've made!, before climbing up onto the table in the center of the room, making a final sweep of the room. The other Twi'lek still seemed familiar, maybe from the dance school, but she wasn't quite sure, part of her brain continuing to think about the other woman. A rhythmic drumbeat began in Na'tala's mind, the Twi'lek starting to sway as she ran her hands up and down her body, working her arms out of her bodyglove. ~~ Within Compound - Main Hall ~~ @Vulpas | @Kalle | @Casavay | @GobMaw_HellSmasha "Oh but that is the trick... We have no available ships. Why do you think I ask you in the first place?" The Duros chuckled. "We had a few assets.... But they too were parked on the public docks. Well that is what you get for saving the fee of private landing pads. But who is insane enough to pay 3000 credits a week for a private landing pad in a one year contract, right?" He asked Kai then turned to the Chiss. "Right?" He shook his head and focused on the rest, or well. The Chiss hunter once more. "Forgive my rant, Ord Mantell is just... Difficult too handle at times. Especially with annoyances like this one." He pointed dismissively at Kass while snapping one of the Gamorreans to fetch credits. Soon after he came with a small case back, opened it in front of Zuri and revealed 10k of credits in chips of 100s. "I hope you have a safe trip to Nal Hutta. The exact coordinates and safety as well as the landing codes are on a datacore buried under the money. The only thing that is now missing is .... Carbonation. It's just out of here, second door on the right, downstairs. A technician is on-site. And with that... I believe our deal is arranged, yes?" The Duros grinned at Zuri. ~~ Within Compound - Barracks Dancing Room ~~ @Avenging-Angel | @Uriel1339 (aka Urian the super-duper OP Astromech) The Twi'lek continued to ignore the dance to her best capability, polishing her blaster. But still occasionally glanced at Na'tala. Not to be impressed by her dance moves. But to make sure that she was the Twi'lek she actually thought the dancer was. In the meanwhile the boys in the room whistled and analyzed the dance moves rather as close as possible. But it appeared they had manners enough to not attempt to touch her.
Zuri grinned predatorily. "Yes, it is. I can't wait to see the bastard turned into an ornament." She nodded towards her newfound 'friend', but his blatant staring made an eyelid twitch. Putting a fist on her heart, she bowed. "A pleasure making business with you. Kai, would you please take the credits?" Hoping that they'd wasted enough time for the rest of them, the Chiss turned to walk to Carbonisation, pulling Kass close as she did, and whispering, "I'll shoot the tech, and we will wing it from there?"
