Spoiler: OOC ...I don't believe Slave IV can fit six people and an astromech. I could be wrong, after all, it did fit a smuggler incased in carbonite. It took a fair bit of convincing-and a bit of puppy dog eyes on his part-but Zuri and him were able to get across the idea that siding with Fett was going to be the groups best option. Nex looked at Kass, slowly shaking his head. He understood that hiding and staying out of sight wasn't Kass's greatest strength. He gave him a sigh. "Considering we're going to be meeting up with the galaxies most infamous bounty hunter, if you want to stick around I suggest being as unrecognizable as possible...just...don't over do it. Or you'll look like you're trying too hard to not to be noticed...which would just have people notice you more...we'll deal with your Hutt when we can, right now getting off world is more important, deal?" Nex gave him a second to comply or blow him off completely, either way his attention shifted to Cyrus, Kai, and Nat. "You may not trust Fett, but trust us. He'll help, I'm positive about it. And it will be worth any trouble that may come out of it. You're going to have to trust our judgement on this." He turned to look at Zuri, he'd be lieing if he said he didn't feel a hint of nervousness about their situation. Regardless he gave her a nod in confirmation. "Welp, we're not getting off this dump by just standing around right?"
Spoiler Slave IV is much larger than Slave I. We'll all fit, with room to spare. Zuri's Safehouse @GobMaw_HellSmasha | "I'll trust you Nex. This just best be worth it." Na'tala still felt that the Empire was the best chance to get information about Darth Onii and the Ragnos Cult but years of living among the fringes of society had taught her that they knew just as much as any government. What little she knew about how bounty hunters operated told her to let Zuri and Nex take the lead in convincing Fett, although she would keep an eye on the infamous hunter.
"Don't just trust NexNip. Trust me, too", Zuri noted, still concerned about her internals, and softly poking at her torso, finding one or the other spot that was beyond sore. "He is a hunter. I am a hunter. Fett is a hunter. The compacts and deals we make go beyond professional honour. There are years of tradition behind our cooperation, tradition that goes back to before the Empire." Her ruby eyes settled on the fugitive that was worth quite a pretty penny, mustering him. The man was quite... overt to her, and he would be a liability. But her debt to Kyle wasn't settled yet, and she still had a lucrative end payment in her sights, so maybe, just maybe, she thought, it was worth seeing Kass as a person for now. Finally tearing her eyes from him, Zuri nodded towards her lapine friend. "Action is better than inaction, Jinx is right. But I suggest our next action be rest?"
@Avenging-Angel, @Casavay | "It will be...We'll get through this Nat, I promise. " he confidently stated with a slight smile. In actuality, he had no clue what was in store for them. What Fett might want out of them. How dangerous and risky it would be. And what was in store for them in the future. But he was confident that they would be able to handle what ever it is. And he would do everything in his power to ensure they make it through alright. He wasn't about to make himself a lier if he could help it. The mention of a rest from Zuri made the little furball audibly yawn and lay his head down. "Yeah...I wouldn't mind..." He yawned again in the middle of his statement, "at least a nap..." Eyelids drooping, the general feeling of grogginess swept over him. He felt like he could sleep for a year, but a nap would have to suffice for now.
Cyrus rocks gently back and forth in his chair, his pace increasing slightly as everyone casts there votes. He really didn't like the idea of doing any sort of dirty work for Boba Fett, not to mention the hassle it would be if Fett found out he was a jedi. He did have to concede that working with him wasn't anywhere near as likely to get them killed as trying to steal a Remnant shuttle would. Even if it didn't please him, Cyrus had always gone with the flow. If this insanity was what the universe had in store....then by all means bring it on. "Well I'll just let you two do the talking since I'm just the idiot farmboy." Cyrus shrugged. "And we'll need to talk a bit later, Nex. Continuing a career in bounty hunting isn't exactly compatible with being a jedi. We'll talk philosophy soon though, just rest for now." He reached over to Zuri's shoulder and scratched the fluffball.
~~ Fett's Docking Station - Boba Fett ~~ "Look who we got here." The man, as usual in his full attire, and fixed backpack strapped on, emerged from his spaceship eyeing Zuri and the little furball, caring little about the rest as they were unknown to him. "I had the information but it appears that you and your friends are here to announce to me that your ship was caught in the explosion which is why my transmission failed and you stand now before me." It was easy to put one and one together, especially given that the streets now are full of beggars to take them off-world, not wanting to die like those unlucky souls in the explosions. He looked at the small 'animal' (@GobMaw_HellSmasha ) for a moment. "Bossk is the one you are looking for if you want to learn more. Last update I had on him was from a few hours ago, being on his way to Ithor." It was clear to Zuri and NexNip that he was referring to the information deal they made. He quickly moved on as if to let the others not even catch what he was implying. "I have the space, I have the means. So yes I can get you off-world and drop you off any nearby world you want. But in order to do that, I need to be able to properly trust you. As you perhaps know I got good money from the Empire while they were... More powerful." His voice appeared to be upset about the fact that Vader and Sidious both had perished, perhaps out of respect to powerful individuals. "Which means that after their fall and the lack of control, especially in the mercenary guild, a lot of scumbags run around. Wannabe hunters. Got good sources on a location of a band of Zabraks that think to be big shots around here. Take 'em out and bring whatever you can retrieve from their base back to me. That will show me if you are capable of fight, and we Mandalorians value prowess as some of you may know." For the first time his focus went off the two and he looked straight at the Twi'lek (@Avenging-Angel ) as if making a point. Spoiler: OOC: Just more Boba Fett action, move along citizen. Nothing to see here.
Spoiler: OOC I really like the internal conflict between trying to uphold the bounty hunters creed, and following the Jedi Code. It's an interesting moral dilemma I don't think is used too often in Star Wars Also the more excuses we have to see Boba Fett the better. Man deserves some screen time. "Whelp, that saves us the trouble of having to explain the whole situation to you." Nexnip quickly chimed in with."...Thanks again for the information Fett" Bossk is on Ithor, he would have to pay Bossk a visit then. It was the best lead he had on finding the whereabouts -or the fate- of his father. One couldn't mistake Boba Fett for a fool. He turned toward Zuri with a bit of a smile on his face. "Looks like we get to bully a few newborns after all." He commented to her, finding it impossible to keep the smile down as he did so. Any opportunity they had to stick it to those who gave bounty hunters a bad name was a golden one. He didn't even have to bring up the offer to secure a cache of weapons, from Fett's inclusion of "take what you can from them" made it clear enough that he already thought of that. However, blindly charging in, guns a blazing would be foolish. Not when they can still find out some clarifying information about the task on hand. "So, what's their location? Are they held up somewhere in particular, possibly a stronghold of some sort we need to raid. What sort of numbers are we talking about here? 5..10...15? What sort of threat should we expect out of them? Are we talking about an organized militia here or a bunch of half-witted thugs" There had to be a catch. It couldn't be as simple as taking out a bunch of slack jawed morons who figure themselves hunters. Otherwise Fett would have just wiped them off the face of the Galaxy himself. There was something he was keeping from them, there must have been something he was keeping as a secret to himself. Though outright calling him out on it was no means of establishing a professional relationship with the hunter. Nex kept quiet on how he felt, spouting off questions any intelligent hunter would want cleared up before accepting a task. No bounty is worth dieing over, as it said in the creed, Fett knew that, Zuri knew that, Nex even knew that. After all, it was hard to collect credits when you were dead. "We'll be sure to pick 'em clean of anything that might be of use to you, Fett." he said, giving him a confirming nod. He felt like it was going to be difficult not to enjoy this. Spoiler: OOC @Avenging-Angel I believe Fett knows Nat is a spy Or at the very least he believes Nat is a spy
@Casavay @Avenging-Angel @GobMaw_HellSmasha Kai- Stood in the back as he listened to Fett catching there new objective about wanting a bunch of Zabrak hunters gone, but not about what he mentioned to Nex, and Zuri about a information. most likely something he and Nat missed. Already in his head he got a idea of of a way to lure out the hunters out of there base if they needed to, Information possibly on a certain bounty that was with them could lure them to a spot for them to take in a ambush, possibly. "Alright then, whats the name of this group or what they go by? If we need to it maybe well if we find what information we can, By local means." Kai suggested ask Nex began asking Fett about the zabrak group.
Spoiler Oh I quite like throwing it in there. I just hope Cyrus won't be too bad an influence on Nex, considering he'd probably do some things that would make even Qui-Gon go "Ehhhh." But ya, gotta bully the fluffy somehow Cyrus just offered a small wave. "Sorry, but I've just got to admire for a moment how informed you are. Pretty sure the stories do you justice. No wonder my father had quite a bit of respect for you....but back to our issue at hand, I think anywhere would be better than here."
Fett's Docking Station Na'tala seemed to shrink in on herself, moving to half-stand behind Kai when Boba Fett focused on her, the Twi'lek's lekku twitching slightly in her nervousness. At the same time though she was confused by his request. The Twi'lek had often heard stories of Fett carrying out assignments with near-impossible odds of success and so she wondered that was so special about the Zabraks that made Fett wary of challenging them.
