@GobMaw_HellSmasha | "Alright then, if we do decide to side with Boba Fett how would you do it? I've more than explained grand theft starship, and Rondo has the idea that he can just walk up to a Hutt. What's your plan?"

  2. "Well I'm not entirely sure what Fett would have planned for us. But getting into contact with him will be the easy part. When he contacts me with the information I paid credits for we - and by we I mean Zuri and I so we don't end up putting the rest of you at risk- shall explain that we ran into a fair bit of trouble trying to get off world and we're now stuck here. As a fellow hunter he will be obliged to help us due to the hunters creed." Nex looked around at everybody in the group. "Fett doesn't need to know who we are exactly, the little he knows about us the better. In fact, no one can mention we're working for Skywalker, he might end up using us to get to Korr, we can't have that..."

He reflexively put a hand on his head after he felt a sharp pain, he felt a bit of dried blood as well as some that still felt wet. Cursing his small easily breakable frame, he sighed a bit and cleared his throat.

"Anyway...after explaining that we need a ship to get us all off world -before he starts to rattle off any ideas he might have for us that would most likely be a suicide mission -we offer to secure a supply of weapon's for him to replace the ones Jaden Korr destroyed. Fett seemed rather sore after that ordeal he had, he'd be happy for anything to come his way. That supply of weapons will probably be taken as a token of good faith if anything, to show him that we're competent, and not a bunch of simple buffoons that would end up doing more harm then good. After that point it's up to Fett what we'd end up doing...knowing his reputation I suggest we be ready for anything. It ain't gonna be easy, but it'll be well worth the trouble in the payout...granted we all live through it, though it won't be nearly as suicidal as it would be. If anything we'd be on Boba Fett's good side, something many would kill for I bet."

He then laid his head back down on Zuri's shoulder and yawned a bit. Previous exhaustion from poor sleep coupled with any blood loss was taking its toll on him.

"Only thing is, we're probably not going to buy those replacement weapons ourselves, if we had that amount of credits I would have suggested we just bought a ship and use that. So that sort of leaves us with little options....Anybody know any local swoop gangs with a surplus of weapons?" Nex then took a snide look toward Kass before continuing.

"Or do we want to take the blasters from every dumb hunter that tries to go after Kass till we have enough weapons to bring to Fett. One way would be quicker and efficient, the other way would be like bullying a bunch of new borns."

No prob, still got some IC debating on what the best plan of attack is anyway.
  5. Still waiting on @Casavay to be honest

Think it'd be werid to just go with something without all of us here to agree on it.

Sorry for keeping you. Yes, shows must go on, I'm surprised you waited, but no less grateful.

The blue-skinned bounty hunter - well, now with something of a reddish paintjob, considering the cuddling of her fearsome furry friend - listened in, considering that she had already said her piece and wouldn't deviate from that. Unwilling to associate with Hutts more than she already did professionally, the direction their planning was taken alerted her initially. Kass wasn't wrong that they could be relied on to be corrupt, greedy fools, but it was akin to walking into a Sarlacc pit with the knowledge they liked to eat - awareness of the danger did not necessarily eliminate it.

Not that she considered stealing an Imperial starship a much better idea. The Remnant was not exactly friendly when dealing with law-breakers, and as much as Zuri was gladly part of the whole 'Scum and Villainy' faction, she found that working within the confines of their rules made her job much easier.

Absent-minded, she was softly stroking NexNip's fur when Cyrus gave them the shield generator, a gift she gladly accepted. Weighing the device in her hand, the Chiss nodded gratefully, as not to interrupt the brainstorming of the group, before pocketing it. The gesture conjured a smile, clearly visible though slight as always.

Eventually, with the little bleeding Jedi on her shoulder seemingly dozing off (which worried her somewhat), she decided to add to the debate.

"I would enjoy bullying a bunch of proverbial newborns, and am still in favour of working with Fett. But history has shown that falsified documentation works when dealing with the Empire again and again - it was before my time, but I think the Rebellion's done it a few times? - so if that's what's worrying you, I think it's the most solid part of the 'Let us steal a spaceship' plan."

"Don't expect that I change my stance though. In this world, the honour of a fellow hunter is pretty much the most reliable thing. Still not touching the Hutt with a ten-foot-pole."

Rousing herself from a much-needed catnap, having been running on adrenaline since the fight in the cantina, Na'tala knelt in front of her new droid. She knew the sales pitch, that it was basically the R2 except newer and, thankfully, cheaper, but the scale of modability that was possible was legendary. Taking out the datapad again Na'tala looked into Urian's eyepiece.
"Let's see what you can do then."
Urian began bleeping away, text appearing on the datapad in time with the droid's noises.
+I am R6-Z8, designated 'Urian'. Personality: masculine. I am programmed to handle repairs on vehicles up to Capital-grade...+
Na'tala's attention began to wander as Urian listed the modifications to both hardware and software that had been installed, instead saving the astromech's monologue onto the datapad for later reading. The droid seemed as chatty as a damned protocol droid, although distinctly lacking in personality.
