Zuri's Safehouse @Vulpas & @GobMaw_HellSmasha & @Kalle & @Casavay | "It'll be... Cyrus, is it?... that will be taking the risks. We fake a high-level personnel file for him and he just walks in to one of the Imp bases. The rest of us pose as his hangars-on, mercenaries or whatever, and we then fake a report that only Cyrus' persona can deal with, giving us a ship and a way off-world. Can any of you do that?" The questioning tone that entered Na'tala's voice as she finished told the truth: she had no real skill whatsoever. During her career she'd noticed that it had been the handlers' role to make identities for the spies and so she'd never learned much abouts the arts of hacking. The mention of her name drew Na'tala's attention to the 'conversation' between Rondo and Nex. "I don't know much about the Hutts, Nex, but the stories I remember from the dance school were all about how they wanted female dancers, not male. Although it might be interesting to see the Jedi dance."
Nex's eyes widened s bit, and then gave Kass a rather disgusted look after Nat chimed in. He felt the man's intentions the moment he came up to greet them. He knew what went through his mind. And it was rather vivid too. One word escaped the Kushiban's mouth "No" he said rather venomously toward Kass. And he shivered a bit, trying to shake the thought of such an indignity. Over his dead body was what he thought to himself.
Cyrus sat backwards in a chair rubbing his temple with one hand as they went through their options. "As much as I like the idea of being chained to the side of a Hutt for the rest or my forseeable life...We really don't have that much to barter with. And if you think I can talk your bounty away like with those other hunters...sorry but mind tricks don't work on the Hutts." His good humor returned though due to the previous comments of both his apprentice and Nat. "Actually when first learning our saber forms....nevermind." He coughed. "I'm beginning to think that taking a ship from the Remnant might not be too bad if we only demand a small shuttle. Won't have a lot of space but it'll get us out of here. Could just cut the middle man and use our new droid friend to find a hanger with said shuttle in it and just storm the activity from earlier once the place has died down."
As much as Nex really felt and encouraged Boba Fett as their best option, he couldn't help but think of something that might work if they plan on dealing with the Remnants. It was a stretch of an idea, but any idea was viable at the moment....except selling themselves into slavery. He thought that would just be stupid. "Can Captain Barbados Tate over here," he said addressing their newest droid companion, "activate any alarms away from the hanger area to distract the imperial forces there, or perhaps create a false flag operation away from their encampment? That way we'd only have deal with minimal resistance. At that point we can sneak in, disable any communications they have so they can't call for reinforcements, take out anyone in the way and escape on a shuttle. We should probably disable any Anti-Air emplacements they might have set up and sabotage their fighters. We don't want to get blasted out of the sky as soon as we lift off, and we wouldn't want anyone tailing us and reporting back..." He then just shook his head and placed his head in his hands. It was one thing to assume that he'd able to get in undetected thanks to his relatively small size and use of his fur for camouflage -Kushiban have proven to be rather stealthy when they needed to be- but to expect everyone else to be just as undetectable was asking too much. "I think it's a bit far off to assume any of you know how to sneak properly for a job like that...I'm hoping at least the spy..." he said nodding toward Nat, "has experience being stealthy. To expect the rest of us though...is a bit of stretch. I'm still sticking with the idea that Fett is our best out. Not to mention whatever high risk operation he might have for us would have an equally as high pay out. Fett's not one to skimp out on paying his...dues..." Suddenly the little guy felt a bit light headed and woozy, wobbling a bit on his perch. That crate he was blasted into did quite a number on him-as did he to the crate if the Kushiban sized dent he left in it was any indication. Still bleeding from the top of his head, the pain he felt from the blast still persisted through out the conversation, blood loss was probably getting the better of him. He opted to lay himself down across Zuri's shoulders. Trying not to draw too much attention to himself when more important matters were at hand and needed to be discussed.
@Kalle @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Avenging-Angel @UnluckyFellow "Now as much As Me and Cyrus might wan't to spend the rest of my years as a dancer entertaining huts to only one day get thrown out like tools we would be used as. I would suggest having a different group of people talk to the hut if we do take that route like myself I know a bit about smuggling myself due to past experiences, Though I would be more likely go with Nat's or Cyrus plan," He then looked to Cyrus after he said a small shuttle. "It would depend on the type of shuttle, Would need good engines and at least one hyperspace drive. Think the bounty hunters or the huts would have something stealthy with them for there ships? I know the hutts may have one to help with there own smuggling rings but who knows if they even have any arranged for this world." Kai said adding to the conversation.
Spoiler: OOC Not sure if a small shuttle or possibly a freighter of a similar size that we would be going for can posses a cloaking device. The most they'd have as far as stealth goes would be radar jammers, falsified ID codes, possibly other means of avoiding radar and detection As far as cloaking devices go it's probably a no go.
Zuri's Safehouse @GobMaw_HellSmasha | "I'm sure our little guy could make a distraction of some sort. Once inside we should preferably go after a shuttle already scheduled to launch. That'll makes our theft that much easier and lessen the chance that we'll be challenged." Spoiler [Lore-Whore: It isn't the size of the ship, it's the rarity of usable cloaking devices.]
"It's still a rather risky plan though. What if the Remnant don't fall for the bait or if they catch on too early? Then we're stuck having to deal with a full force of Imperials with about a tenth of their manpower. As impressive as Cyrus is with that lightsaber he won't be able to fend off all of them if things go sour. Besides even if the plan goes smoothly, showing up on a Republic controlled planet in an imperial craft is an easy way to get blasted to dust" Nex chimed in with. He wasn't one to focus on how things can go wrong, but to believe that any plan will go off flawlessly or any plan was perfect is naive at best. They needed to be certain that they can get a ride off planet, not put it to chance of nabbing a craft without anyone asking questions. If they wanted to do that, working with the Hutt or Boba Fett was their only sure fire means of ataining something serviceable. And the Hutt was out of the question for him, leaving Fett as the only option to him. "Even though I still honestly believe that siding with Fett would be our best course of action, I'll be behind whatever we decide on doing as a group...we're in this together now" he took a quick glance at Kass, "...whether some of us like it or not." "But if I end up dieing, I'm haunting all of you for the rest of your lives." He added, then he looked at Zuri with a grin, "you're exempted though."
"Ah almost forgot in all the excitement." Cyrus reached into his pack and pulled the second shield generator out, offering it to Zuri and Nex. "These might do to help us out with this." He rocked the chair back and forth anxiously. "So run with me on this for a moment. What if we lay low a couple days while we wait for the increased presence at the spaceport to disperse or alternatively we act before they can organize. Do recon only shortly before making our move so that we don't arrive to find an empty hanger. I think through some liberal application of the Force we can strike so quickly that they'll just have no idea what to do." "As for going to a Republic system with an Imperial vessel...won't be a problem so long as we can prove who we say we are. In that respect, fortunately jedi are still far too few to have many impostors. Worst case, Master Skywalker comes to bail us out of jail."
"Thank you Cyrus, I'm grateful to have you with us." Giving a smile and an appreciative nod to Cyrus. He looked at Zuri and egged her on to take the shield generator for herself. She would need it more out of the two them. "Zuri, you take it. I'm not a front line fighter, but I know this thing can end up saving your skin when you need it. Besides, the things almost as big as me, it'd just weigh me down if anything." He then focused his attention back to the group at large. "I hope you're right...last thing we need is to get shot down by the same people we're trying to help. Worst case scenario would be if this plan backfires and kills us...hope the force is still on our side..."
