If you would want the two of our characters to have some history That way I have a reason to go hitching rides on your shoulder We could work something out
~~ Rp Start ~~ One of the crewmen opened the door to the briefing room where the assembled group was supposed to be prepared for their arrival on Yavin IV, but that would have to wait! "We are under attack! We must repel and then make for a haste retreat to a nearby planet. The Imperium will board us soon, so hurry, hurry hurry!" He yelled, the ship shaking as the shields could be heard failing and then a follow-up explosion signalling that one of the primary lasers struck, too. The Blazing Phoenix would require a brave defense force to prevail! Priority targets probably would be the Hyperdrive Engine, as well as the Shield Generator and of course the Main Reactor. Where the group would defend was up to them! Or perhaps they would get to the bridge to protect Captain Barton, human commander of this ship.

It could be something as simple as a pet and owner sort of relationship You could be one of the only member of the crew that know the intricacies to Kushiban, (mood fur coloration) and possibly the only one that initially knows that Jinx is sentient. We could spin it as we play if we want Edit: Wait we aren't starting a separate thread for this?
Briefing Room Na'tala glanced at the other people in the briefing room, drawing her two blaster pistols, as the crewman unnecessarily informed them about the attack. "If the main reactor is taken then we all die. We could start there and then reclaim everywhere else." The blue-skinned Twi'lek spy seemed unconcerned by the fact that they could turn into atoms at any moment, keeping herself calm by focussing on one problem at a time.
NexNip was enjoying a nice nap when the sudden blaring of alarms stirred him awake. His fur changing from the peaceful white to a startled yellow. Yeah he was suppose to be their for a meeting but it couldn't be one that was too important, otherwise someone might have woke him up. Though compared to the noise the alarms made he would have preferred having someone else waking him up. Despite being a bit more traveled then the average Kushiban he could never get over how loud the alarms were on starships. He could have swore he heard something over the loudspeakers about Imperials boarding the ship. That word, Imperial, seemed familiar to him, but he didn't really know what they were, or who they are. But even he could tell from the sirens that they certainly weren't here for a simple visit. That alarm usually meant fighting. NexNip hated fighting. He didn't understand why everyone he's come across fights all the time. If this is how the Galaxy usually is then he couldn't get back home to Kushibah fast enough. It's been over ten years since he found himself off his beloved home, he really shouldn't have wandered on to that starship. On the other hand though, if he didn't, he wouldn't have met all the nicer people he came across. That family on Coruscant, his traveling buddy, Zuri, and a bunch of other people he came across his travels as a stowaway aboard numerous starships. Guess that goes to show that the Galaxy isn't entirely good or bad, though he would have liked if the Galaxy was just good. NexNip continued to stay on the shoulders of Zuri, the same shoulders he was sleeping on previously. Zuri knew how to fight better then he could. He decided to stick with her, she would know better out of the two them what to do in this situation.
Alastain gave the intruding crewman a withering look, until he'd heard his warning. All signs of his previous indignation was all but gone then, and he pushed out his chest with a resolute look. "Very good, but we cannot leave our engines defenseless, or we will be dead in space!" he declared. He had a deep, booming voice, one accustomed to giving commands. He put his helmet on his head. "I will secure the engine room, and smash any Imperial in my way," he said, setting his blaster rifle to stun.
The Chiss was toying with a fuse when the attack suddenly attempted to tear the tiny detonator from her hand. "The Remnant is so aggressive already. Belligerence. The same thing that ensured their downfall before", Zuri commented - mostly to herself - as she stowed the previous object of her attention inside of one of her pockets. She replaced it with her own blaster rifle, an E-11 she'd picked up around the same time she decided that Imperials paid much better than the Alliance. Of course, this was before she realised just how replacable she was to them. "You're awake, Jinx?", asked the bounty hunter as she felt the familiar stirring behind her neck, right as Alastain spoke. "Yes. I will accompany you, Kromar. Nobody goes alone. And I might take a look at the damage. Just in case the smashed Imperials smashed something."
Alastain nodded in response. "Excellent! Then I suggest we move quickly!" he insisted. The man was much more spirited than his age would give an impression of.
