Kushibah - Village The village was almost as Na'tala expected, untroubled by the wider galaxy and its problems. Na'tala's own village, back on Ryloth, had been similar, largely isolated from the other cavern-cities and surface-based settlements. Glancing at the crowd that seemed to be growing around them the Twi'lek considered how peaceful and innocent everything was. That was the difference between her original home and Nex's Na'tala realised: nothing on Ryloth was innocent. Witnessing Nex reunite with his family soured Na'tala's mood. The relationship with her own family was non-existent, she hadn't seen them since they sold her, while the man she considered her father-figure had been missing for several years and so she drifted to the back of the group, turning to look out over the village.
-Kushibah "Hello there little ones." Kai said as he looked to some of the younger kushibans look to them as they entered the village. So this what Nex nips home looked life, Kai in his head imagined it a bit differently instead but nonetheless it was good to see Nex and his father see his family again it caused him to think back on his life as he saw them.
~~ NexNip's Home ~~ @Avenging-Angel | @Casavay | @GobMaw_HellSmasha | @UnluckyFellow | @Kalle | @Vulpas Minlan was basically immediately dragged away by the two tiny Kushiban who embraced the man overly eager, having only heard stories and such, with the older one making sure their father would be fine. Thus leaving NexNip's mother, Sapina, alone with the group. "Well so much for some peaceful family time." She mused with a soft giggle, embracing her son as the rest of the group became visible. They were tall, or the Kushiban just small, it always had been a struggle of perception. "So while the boys are out and catch up we can do some catching up on our own, yes? I am sure there are many questions from your side as well as mine. And don't be shy you giants from a foreign world. There is plenty to be learned from this old lady!" Sapina smiled, still holding her boy, ruffling his head now to mess his fur-do up as if he was a little boy. "Surely I can offer some soup for you? Infused with the finest leaves that grow around here, including various vegetables grown in our own little garden. It's growing quite well, so if you want to take some produce along for your travel, gladly take some. Would be a shame to let it all go bad, mh?" Finally, slowly she let go of her little brave boy who travelled near and far to bring her husband back. Only with strong emotional holding back she could keep the tears of joy at bay, not wanting to really show her super-emotional side to NexNip's friends, who now had sticking up fur on his head from all the furious-joyful rubbing.
@Uriel1339 "Mooooom!" he fake pouted as his mother ruffled the top of his head. Though from the smile on his face it was clearly visible that he didn't mind the affection. In fact, he missed it. His mom was still the same after all these years. It made him overjoyed to see her again. He went for another hug. Tears of joy fully flowing from his eyes as he looked up to her. He just started to chuckle. He brought a wrist up to his eyes to wipe away the tears."I love you, mom. Kriff...I haven't had the chance to say that to you in a long time. So I'm going to take advantage of that now...I missed you. All of you. The whole village. So much. It's been so long..." "So...What happened while we were away mom? Anything of note? I mean it's been fifteen years since I last saw you...I'm sorry for...whatever worry I brought on you mom...it's a long story, but I would be glad to tell you all of it. The good and the bad. I'll tell you all of it...especially a quite recent development." He looked to Cyrus and back toward his mother. He smiled toward them both as he looked at the both of them. "Mom, this is Cyrus" he said introducing their resident Jedi, "he's a Jedi...and my master...Guess it's no secret now but...I found out about the...well, force and things. And dad already told me much about you as a Jedi yourself. Even if he left out some details." His ears raised, as if he suddenly realized the significance of him being home. Who he has to see while here. "Qwella. Mom have you seen Qwella lately? I-I'd like to see her." he asked, his heart racing at the prospect of being able to see her again.
Cyrus just beamed at the second Kushiban Jedi among them. "Some soup would be lovely but please don't trouble yourself on our account." He reached down and ruffled Nex in much the same way his mother just had, laughing. "As Nex has said, I'm what passes for a Jedi these days. Can't live up to old standards but if it means anything, Nex here has already become a more well rounded person than I could ever hope to be." He looked off into the distance where the trees had been cleared for farming. "If this is your harvest time, would you like some help collecting the Silkweed?"
~~ NexNip's Home ~~ @Avenging-Angel | @Casavay | @GobMaw_HellSmasha | @UnluckyFellow | @Kalle | @Vulpas "I think Qwella is at her house, haven't seen her yet, but I am sure she awaits you, too." With a knowing smile she fixed up NexNips hair a bit, before turning to the Jedi-Knight. She knew the gravita of NexNips words but Sapina always knew that the force one way or another would find it's way to her son. "I always was certain that he would find to it earlier or later. As for the harvest don't worry about it, we got it all handled. You have greater tasks at hand than doing some farmer work. Take your time to explore our world, experience the few things we have to offer, it can be exciting or calming, depending on where you go. After all, since you have such uncertainty in your skill, Jedi Knight... Perhaps you actually came with the agenda to betray Katarn's teaching to learn a bit from me?" The woman tilted her head curiously, everyone could see where NexNip got his gestures from. "As for the rest of you, there is a waterfall deeper in the east, also has beautiful scenery and it is very peaceful. One thing you should definitely go and see. Most of our village go there after a hard day of work to bath and relax, but given the time of the day you should have it all to yourself. We keep it clean of leeches and other parasites, so no dangers of taking a swim either." Sapina's smile never faded for a moment, the glee of happiness radiating in her eyes and white teeth to have her family re-united after a felt eternity.
@Uriel1339 Nexnip looked toward his mother with a big smile. He hugged her once more, before breaking off and bowing his head at her. "I'll be back soon, we still have a lot to catch up on, mom." he said before turning away as if he was about to run off. But stopped himself to check his robes, to make sure he had something very important for the occasion. And sure enough it was there. The flower Kai gave him a year ago back on Ithor, Nex made sure to preserve it and keep it alive all of this time in case he'd have a moment like this. When he could finally give it to the one he knew it was for all along. "Oh...umm..." he muttered awkwardly toward his friends, "excuse me...I got some...personal matters to attend to." He bowed out, and rushed on over to Qwella's home. Memories flooding back to him as he rushed over to the location. He could never forget where it was. As he neared the base of the tree his mind was plagued with thoughts. How should he handle this? How mad is she going to be with him? Would she actually remember him? He stood there, waiting for the words to come, what to say, how to say it. He steeled himself and looked upwards toward the hole in the tree. "Qwella!" he shouted out, hopefully getting her attention enough to look out and see him. Double checking to make sure he still had the flower on hand.
@Uriel1339 Cyrus can't help but laugh at Sapina's suggestion for his statement. "Oh no, it wasn't that. I was simply remarking that compared to the Jedi of the Clone Wars that our knowledge and training probably seems quite incomplete. Kyle has been a wonderful teacher, and while we don;t see eye to eye on everything I can see where he's coming from with a lot of his lessons. I'm not foolish enough to turn down a lesson though, I'll listen if you're willing to instruct."
Kushibah - Village It sounded like Nex and Cyrus would be picking Sapina's brain for information about the old Jedi Order and while it would be interesting to hear the dynamic that was present made Na'tala uncomfortable. Heading away from the group, moving in the direction of the waterfall, Na'tala used the walk as a chance to watch the village, just observing the rabbit-like natives going about their daily activities. Spoiler There isn't really much to do
@Avenging-Angel "Hey Nat heading towards the waterfall as well mind if I come along with," Kai said as he went to catch up with Nat. "Sounds like it might be a beautiful sight the waterfall could be. It may also be good place to get a holoshot of Kushibah's landcape." Kai said as he walked beside Nat.
