Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Zuri had emerged from her room before and was now among the group that she'd been trying to flee from just a day earlier. Military hours had been something she'd never really lost, and so, she was a veritable paragon of well-restedness among this group. "Do not fall asleep, Jinx, or I won't be able to resist picking you up", she half-joked in her usual wry tone. Outwardly, she seemed little different, but beneath the blue, Zuri was quite torn up between the changes she was going through morally, those weird feelings for the NagaiOffshoot, and the feeling that NexNip deserved much more attention as a friend than she gave him. "I am looking forward to Yavin. I like the green", she admitted casually, already slowly moving to snatch up the furry Jedi.
Cyrus almost falls down in a drowsy laugh. "Oh goodness, Nex. Your innocence is too adorable. No, it was probably set to our last training session...so you practiced for about two hours. Can't really explain why but past a certain point you actually don't gain and muscle memory from training,...just trust me on that okay?" "Despite what many people say, it really is a nice place. If you'd like I'll show you around some of the old temples, Zuri." He sleepily smiled at the Chiss. "Provided we have a bit more down time before Master Skywalker sends us on our way."
"Heyyyy" he managed too utter out groggily, halfway pointing a finger at Cyrus, "I told you I don't know how to work a datapad very well...why didn't you change it from before...I didn't know how to get to that option myself. I considered myself lucky that I was able to turn the thing on..." He didn't protest or move too much as Zuri picked him up. He didn't exactly have the energy too do so and he didn't really have any aversions to being picked up by her anyways. If he wasn't so tired he would have gotten to her shoulder himself. So he instead just waited to be placed on his usual spot and just laid himself across the back of Zuri's neck. "This works too..." he said looking over to Zuri briefly before resting his head back down.
@Casavay @UnluckyFellow Kass had emerged from his room not much longer after Zuri, and let his bright blue, attentive eyes wander about the gathering. Having been sluggish and impassive for the duration of Zuri's absence, it was clear to anybody who would look that the spacer had found his old, cheerful self again, judging by the way he seemed to be quite alert and eager, and the relaxed smile on his face. He looked like a very different person from the pale creature that had been moping about in his room not more than a couple days before. Hands dug deep into his pockets in his usual casuality of manners, he greeted his companions jovially. "Yavin's a world I've never been to - probably not any much like it, either - and I, for one, am quite eager to see what all the stories are about. So don't think I'll let you and Zuri sneak off to see the temples on your own, Cyrus," he added, with a smirk at the Jedi.
@Kalle et all Cyrus smiled sleepily, the rather large cup of dark tea he'd had before checking out was finally starting to kick in. At this moment he probably would have preferred some combat adrenal to stay awake but the tea was the best he could hope to do. He yawned again. "Right...I'll teach you how to use a datapad on the flight over." He nodded at Rondo. "Sounds like a plan, should give me a bit of time to learn about the oddest recruit of the group eh? Right then...guess we should get our butts in gear and get down to the spaceport."
He lifted his head up and lazily looked over too Kass. He would have asked why Kass was still on board for all of this. Out of everyone here, he had even less reason to stick around then Zuri. Even less now that the two hunters essentially let him go. But then he remembered, he knew why Kass was willing too stick around. He knew by now that he wasn't the only one overjoyed with Zuri's return to them, even if they were for entirely different reasons. Despite the obvious joking intention of what Kass said too Cyrus, he knew where it was really coming from. "We really need to clear up that bounty by the way...sooner the better" he partially mumbled aloud to himself, "can't keep running into bounty hunters over and over again... We already enough to worry about then to have scum like Bossk awaiting around every corner. Unless we want to become frequent patients to every local hospital we come across."
Green Jewel - Lobby - Na'tala & Kotep Na'tala emerged from her room, everything she currently owned bar her datapad all stowed away in Urian's storage. She was still confused about Onii and whether he was dead or not but she accepted Zuri's version of events. After so much diversion, and the large number of deaths and mayhem that followed them, the Twi'lek was glad to finally be on the home stretch to Yavin IV. She'd been on the other side of the galaxy when the Death Star had been destroyed and had heard legends of the ruins that the Alliance had used whilst on the jungle moon. Maybe General Skywalker would let them go exploring! --- Having gained recompense, of a sort, from the Jedi and with the Sith apparently dead Kotep didn't really see a need to stick around. With the flower safely tucked away the Mandalorian had checked out of the hotel in the early morning, heading towards the spaceport in search of work that would get him off-planet. Spoiler If the RP lasts until everyone reaches Mandalore he'll return in a cameo.
"I am surprised that you are interested in Yavin's temples, Rondo", confesses the Chiss idly, nodding towards the twi'lek that was joining them. Zuri had already seen them, but only from afar - the times she'd spent on Yavin IV were limited to her dealings with Katarn and nothing else. But she'd liked it, seen it as the kind of environment she'd wanted to build her hunting reserve upon. Of course, not this planet in particular, since she was still more than wary of Jedi and their sorcerous ways.
"I thought we'd already established that I appreciate beauty," countered the spacer with a smirk, before his eyes followed Zuri's nod over to the twi'lek. "Good of you to join us, Nat," he shot over to the agent, smiling good-naturedly, as per usual. He cleared his throat. "Show of hands, who knows anything about Yavin 4, besides the fact that it's where all the saber-jockeys are holed up?"
~~ Home One | An hour later ~~ @Casavay | @Kalle | @GobMaw_HellSmasha | @UnluckyFellow | @Vulpas | @Avenging-Angel After all their possessions have been put away in the room they were going to share, filled with bunk beds, five in total, each with one bed above the ground one, thus making a total of ten beds. Minlan, since he was not a member of the Strikeforce, remained in the room along with Urian who did not receive clearance just yet. The rest of the group met Ackbar on the bridge. "Ah I see that Skywalker's chosen are still alive and well. Let us waste no time then." He gestured to the big, round holotable in the rear of the bridge, for everyone to gather around. "There are good news, and not so good news. So let us start with the good news." An image of the infamous leader of the Disciples of Ragnos cult was displayed. "Jaden Korr managed to defeat her and put the revival of Ragnos to a swift end. The costs were high as the cult was big and many young Jedis perished in the conflict. This is where the bad news begin. Grandmaster Skywalker felt the pain greatly, and believes that the echo of that pain in conjunction with a disturbance of the force predicts far greater turmoil. However and more importantly, he deemed you not ready for the mission. So instead you will train on Yavin IV, for an entire year." He placed one of his hands behind his back, using the other one to change the hologram to where each of the special talents before him would be assigned to. "Zuri and Rondo Kass will undergo special operations training. Cyrus and his newly found Padawan are to report to Grandmaster Skywalker and Master Katarn for Jedi Training. Na'tala will hone her skills further in espionage and stealth operations. And Kai will train under Wedge Antilles with a new batch of fighter pilots to become a new pilot. Each of your talents will be further built upon and extended to the needs of the New Republic's Rebellion against the Galactic Empire Remnants. You will all remain within the safe confinements of Yavin IV, which means you will still have plenty of time to bond and perform team exercises. After all, it is Skywalker who preaches cooperation and teamwork the most, because that is what allowed us to bring the Empire to the knees in the first place. If there is anything else you need during our travels, or otherwise, feel free to find me on the bridge. Other than that, dismissed." Ackbar did not wait to allow questions as he returned to his post on the other end of the bridge, he talked to a group of officers which meant most likely it was important and shouldn't be interrupted. The group was on their own once more to talk about the events unfolding as they had free roam on-board the flagship of the New Republic. OOC: I will give you a couple of IRL days to talk about the turns of events, etc. Just so you can get your chars in preparation for what's to come. The 1 year training montage-time-skip will come once you are all ready to advance the storyline
