Zuri felt herself in the right when NexNip conceded to her, but still could not help also feeling glad that he'd returned. Softly, she moved to pet his head, not smiling, but certainly more relaxed than before. "I did not notice, but suffice to say it will not matter any longer", she revealed.
  2. The look on his face changed to stark surprise. His fur got darker. He knew it. He knew it was too good to be completely accurate. Zuri might have defeated Onii. But she didn't end his threat completely. He couldn't blame her. There was no way she could have known. He just found out from his father quite recently. He looked to his father with a frightened expression before turning back to Zuri.

"Zuri..." he said, a twinge of fear prevalent in his voice."That talisman matters more then you think, it means everything actually. Because if you defeated him, if you killed him. And you didn't destroy that talisman along with him...He can return...He will return..."

He looked away to his father, his heart began to beat faster and faster, his breathing was quick shallow.

"Isn't that right dad? That his talisman is the source of his power, holds his ability to manifest. And the only way Mom was able to put a stop to him was to destroy it."

He looked back to Zuri, fearing for her safety at this point in time.

"Zuri...I understand how you didn't want to get involved in all of this. But Onii has a blood feud against my entire family because my mother bested him. If what you say is true, and you killed him. When he manifests himself once more...he's going to come after you as well. I am sorry. I'm so sorry Zuri. But you're in just as much danger as I am now. And only until Onii is stopped for good will that ever change."

Minlan put a hand on NexNip's shoulder as he ignored the entire talisman or no-talisman discussion. "Calm yourself and stop poisoning yourself with too much concern and such dark thoughts." He looked over to Zuri. "I am glad you confronted yourself and found that there was more in life than just murdering." The older man simply said and then simply started to walk inside. "Come on you lot, we have to start packing, it would be mean to let the good Admiral wait once he arrives, no?"

  4. Maybe his dad was right, and he needed to calm himself. Filling his head with worries didn't solve the matter at hand. If anything it just made the situation worse. So what if Onii came back? His mother defeated him before, and it can be done again. He'd end the threat Onii posed on the Galaxy. With Cyrus' training, with everyone there for him, he would do it. He sighed and looked back to Zuri.

"Regardless, we really should prepare for that Ackbar guy's arrival." he said, with a weaker smile them before, "I don't really have much in the means of possessions. Got my vibroknife, my collar, my necklace...that's about it. I'm pretty set myself...how about we get a proper dinner this time. With all of us? I think we all deserve the down time. We can worry about those troubles tomorrow. Right now, we have each other. Nothing's changing that."

He brushed up against the side of Zuri's head, "Hey, whatever the case may be now...It's good to have you back."

Cyrus was almost as stumped as Nat was in this case. "So wait a minute. Onii is a spirit trapped in some old Sith artifact rather than a single person...you were going to tell me this before I was right in the middle of a duel with him right?" The Jedi sighed. "So he's probably not gone for good but Zuri killing him...I still want to hear how you did it soon...may at least buy us some time."

"The old fluffball is right though, we should probably head to bed so we don't miss our shuttle out of here."

Kai smiled and nodded under his helmet as he saw Zuri returning her greeting. Since everyone was together and it was the best time to share his gift he got everyone. He decided to get the ever bloom flowers to give to everyone. "Good to see you back with us Zuri, was afraid you would receive the gift I had gotten for everyone. Kai said as he quickly went back to another room to a vase were he had placed the ever blooms.

Taking one out for each of his companions Kai handed out a ever bloom to everyone as a gift, Several odd ones out remained for Cyrus's family Kai remembering to get some extras for him to give to them if he ever returned to his families farm.

As the conversation went on and now back to the matters at hand Kai nodded to them should be getting to get packed. "I Should be quick with what Little I have if anyone needs help you can call me to help with packing." Kai said offering to help as needed. In the back of Kai's mind Kai did wonder If Nexnip's father was right about Onii being able to come back due to some artifact.
  7. Green Jewel - Lobby - Na'tala & Kotep
Accepting the flower from Kai Na'tala cautiously held it. The Twi'lek wasn't a complete idiot in that she knew it was a flower of some kind but she didn't know the species. Like Kai Na'tala owned little, most of it had been lost, one way or another, on Ord Mantell and the rest she could hold in one hand or was Urian.

    ---

The flower was unexpected, although Kotep kept it to give to his wife. Ezri was a botanist as much as a mercenary, skilled at making poisons, and she might have an idea of what the flower was. Haran, she might appreciate it for the gift it was!
  8. Nexnip took Kai's gift of some sort of flower with a polite nod and a "thank you Kai". It was a rather pretty flower, but he still wasn't quite sure what to do with it, or even what sort of flower it is. Is he supposed to eat it? Can he eat it? Is the flower poisonous? Can something so innocent looking be so dangerous? These thoughts amounted to nothing, mostly because he had no intention on eating the beautiful flower. He knew the perfect one who should receive such a flower. He only had to keep the flower alive long enough to bring it to her. But who knows how long that'd take, or when he'd be able to finally return home.

"How long do you think these flowers last? More importantly, is there a way to keep it bloomed for awhile?" he asked, looking at Kai, but really addressing the room with his query.

After hearing Cyrus mention that he wasn't told of the most important detail to defeat him, Nex looked to Cyrus with a pouty face.

"I don't know exactly how the talls man thing works for Onii myself, I just found out from my father yesterday. I still don't really understand how that's possible or what any of that means. If anything, I would have gotten my father to tell you, he could have explained it in better detail then I could." he huffed, lifting himself up and crossing his arms, "besides, I didn't want to bring the Sith up at all until we got back on track and got to the temple so we could tell the Jedi about it. I'd would've liked one day where I don't have to worry about such things. I do that enough every other day."

"Aww come on, don't give me that look." He said, smiling at the Kushiban. "Someone's spirit persisting through the Force is very rare but not unique and thankfully the Order has already been alerted. First thing I did when we got here, just in case we ended up dead waiting for our pickup."

He sighed. "I do hope the Admiral's news isn't that bad. Turns out the Disciples of Ragnos attacked the temple since we've been away so his news could relate the that...and yes Nex everything is fine and the darksiders ended up crushed."
  10. "Huh, know me enough already to predict what'd I ask before I ask it, ey?" he said, he couldn't help but grin, "well that's good at least."

At Cyrus's mention of the troubling news he sighed, his eyes went to the floor as he slowly shook his head. Looking back up toward Cyrus he continued on.

"The Admiral did say there wasn't a lot of time. So, whatever is going on has to be urgent enough to warrant that. Though...I have to admit. At this point, the news of more troubles doesn't come as a surprise to me anymore. Half expected something to be wrong to be honest...which isn't really a good thing. It seems like everything involving us since Onii showed up has to be something troubling, or something else going wrong. We get shot at around every corner, bombs going off. It's been happening too often for it to be sheer coincidence. It feels like the Galaxy is conspiring against us."
