"I smell like a Hutt? I wasn't the one sweating bullets a few minutes ago, master. That ones on you." he jokingly answered back, "but yeah, you're right. Don't want the fur to get all dirty. That'd just be the worst feeling." With a smile he left Cyrus to his room. His mentor was right though. Freshening up would probably be for the best. If anything it'd make him feel better. "I'll see you down then, Cyrus!" he said as he and his father left to go to their own room.

    @Kalle @Vulpas

As Nex lead his father back to the room, and opened the door, he saw Kass spread across his bed and Kai standing next to them admist a conversation. He closed the door as his father walked inside and brushed past them. Barely hearing what the conversation between the two was about.

"Don't mind me" he said while walking toward the restroom, "I'm just gonna wash myself off a bit. This fur doesn't clean itself unfortunately. By the way we're going to dinner pretty soon, thought the both of you'd like to know."

And with that he went into the restroom and closed the door behind him. To say that Nex couldn't appreciate all the luxuries technology brings wouldn't be entirely correct. As much as he would rather be back home with out all of the bright lights and loudest noises imaginable that the Galaxy had in full, he liked his warm baths. He's grown rather fond of being able to control the temperature of his bath water. And if there was anything else the Galaxy had to offer him, it was not having to be exposed to the elements when it rained.

Nexnip hated when it rained. No, he feared it if anything. It was not the lightning or the thunder that scared him, it was the rain itself. When it rained, it put out the fires. Fires that helped keep them protected and safe from Kushibah's pyrophobic predators. When it rained, they were in danger. When it rained, it meant death was near. He knew rain was necessary for their crops to grow. But did it have to leave them so vulnerable too?

After Nex filled the tub to a level he felt appropriate, he turned the water off, took the vibroknife and the strap off him, and climbed inside. The water was a good temperature. If there was anything technology had going for it, it'd be baths like this.

"I will see that nobody else uses it." She merely stated, crossing her arms. "Unless you attempt to insinuate anything at all dear Zuri?" DMF-001 almost growled, a slight hiss escaped her lips.

Zuri narrowed her eyes, mulling over whether - and what - to reply to DMF, but eventually just shook her head. "...I can... feel its malice, Zabrak. Interfering with clients is not my style, but please do not focus on your father's legacy. You are your own person."

With those words, the Chiss left her, walking through the city's streets towards the hotel where her companions were staying. It had only been a short while for her to be gone, a very short one, she realised, and the woman walked intentionally slowly to expand the time she had to think.

"Yeah...., Think anyone who's raised under that kind life believe the same thing? Like if someone who we consider is peaceful was raised different circumstances or faced different challenges they would be the same or different, Galaxy also throws a lot of differ challenges at people, Sometimes those challenges change the person." Kai said continuing his conversation his helmet at times looking as if his head on the inside was still thinking.

After scraping off all the grime and stepping out of the sludge water, Cyrus dressed in a new set of dark grey jedi garb much in the same style of the old order and of Skywalker a few years ago. He flipped his robe inside out, shifting it from a dark brown to a black that looked like Palpatine had run it through the wash a bit too much. There were quite a few people in the Order that were completely okay with wearing the same colors every day, Cyrus was not one of them even if it did make him look a bit like a Sith Lord....aside from his goofy face.

Before going to find a table for everyone, he made sure to pick up a decent bottle of brandy to share seeing as they had been slow getting any service when Minlan had started to lecture everyone. Fortunately there was a big booth in the corner of the restaurant, so not much else to do except wait for everyone and try to blend in with the seats.

Zuri sighed when the hotel came into view. The walk was over far too soon for her own tastes – and hopes. She could not even distract herself from the imminent social doom by window shopping, for night had fallen over Ithor City and most bazaar stands and shops had been closed up already. And so, her mind had been set on DMF-001, Darth Onii's demise, the dark sabre-weapon, the voices, her being a murderer, the loss of a code, the lack of adherence...

Through just one deed, she had managed to destroy and tear down so many well-worn, proven structures of her mind, so much integrity of her own morale was lost, she could almost touch the change that had happened – was still happening – within herself. Like a force of nature. It was both frightening and immensely frustrating to know herself affected so easily. Of course, she put some blame on Kass making her lower her emotional defenses.

At the very least, she knew now that she was more than able to break her promises to herself. And that she had become much less than a bounty hunter by now; the cruelties she had willingly inflicted upon what amounted to be an innocent by her own code had proven that firmly. By the time she'd finally come to something that resembled terms with it, she was torn from her reverie by the sensory input of standing in the hall that lead to her, Nex', and Kass' room.

As she stood, the Chiss could not help but notice how her attire had changed, now that she had returned. It was a staple in theatre, she knew, often to indicate character growth, which made it all the more dramatically amusing that she felt that if anything, her character had shrunk, and that she had lost value as a person by betraying some of the most basic princples of her existence. Now dressed in a sombre light gray, with a long jacket of light fabric – hiding a large amount of internal pockets – providing both layers and a source of cooling to the heat-sensitive near-human, and also serving, at least to her own mind, to grant her something of a spectral, flowing form, Zuri looked down at herself and nodded.

Hoping to be alone, the mercenary entered the room where her bed and stash where situated.
  8. Nex was busy enjoying the time he had to himself and his bath. It felt nice to be able to relax for once. Being able to symbolically wash away his troubles for the time being. It felt liberating to not have to worry about anything, even if it was just a brief respite away from it all. He thought too much about all of his troubles, anything that can and could happen to everyone. His dad was right, he had to start keeping himself in his thoughts more often then not all. As difficult as that concept came to him. Convincing himself he was even worth caring about became hard to do since the day his brother got blinded. But maybe he could give himself another chance.

But he had time to think about it later. Right now, nothing was going to separate him from him and his bath. Such a simple luxury. And yet it helped so much. He was so focused to cleaning himself off he almost missed sensing the new arrival that just arrived to their. His ears perked up on reaction. He wasn't expecting anybody else to show up to their room. Unless it was Cyrus coming to checking up on them. But it couldn't be Cyrus, he'd be able to tell if it was Cyrus. Some werid thing force sensitives had I guess. Being able to sense one another easier then those without access to the force. He'd have to ask Cyrus later why that works like it does.

But if it wasn't Cyrus then who was it? Well he didn't bother trying to focus to hard on the matter. He didn't hear any yelling or screaming or blaster fire, so they weren't under attack. And that was enough for him to drop his worries and keep himself relaxed and without care. If he started worrying about every little thing he'd end up in an early grave. But he could have swore there was someone that arrived to their room. Maybe it was Nat, or Vala. Or maybe it was just room service and he really was driving himself crazy.

He really needed to calm down. He was hoping at least tomorrow for it to be a more relaxing day then this day came to be. Zuri leaving so early put a whole downer on the entire day. But training with Cyrus was exactly what he needed to keep his mind off of it. And he had two more hours of training to look forward tomorrow. And the whole rest of that day to do whatever came to mind. In fact it was the first day he had in five years without Zuri with him. The thought was weird for him to think about, and difficult to fully accept. But maybe it was for the best. He would have liked to say goodbye, but maybe that would have made it even harder on him.

He really needed a holiday from it all. Afterall the Galaxy wasn't going to end if he took a day off. Tomorrow was going to be better. It just had to be.

    ~~ The Next Morning! ~~

Everyone woke up rather peacefully after whatever they had been up to in order to relax and everyone saw to their food on their own. As slowly the individuals of the group started to rise, it appeared that Na'tala, Kotep (@Avenging-Angel ) and Urian had left early, having left a note of grabbing breakfast elsewhere and doing just some relaxing on Ithor. Vala (@High_Adept_Zeth ) has disappeared so far without a trace, but most likely just off to find some scrap to sell. Minlan in the meanwhile was still sleeping, catching up on some rest again.

The sun was standing high and illuminating garden and hotel in it's entirety, just like most of Ithor, leaving only few shadows on this warm, but not hot morning.

  10. Nexnip was awake rather earlier then usual for him. He left his father a note stating that'd he'd be in the garden if he needed him, just in case he didn't make it back before Minlan woke up. And as the note informed he was in the garden, the same garden that Cyrus and himself trained in yesterday. The sunrise of Ithor was absolutely beautiful to view, one should consider themselves fortunate to get to see such a gorgeous view. But that's not why he was in the garden on this particular day.

From an outsiders perspective, it'd look as if a small rodent esque creature was hopping around with little rhyme or reason. And if anyone from the crew saw him-aside from Cyrus and perhaps his father- they might have thought he's gone nuts. But Nexnip knew exactly what he was trying to accomplish. 'Again, try again' he thought as his jump didn't reach the height he was shooting for, 'Cyrus jumped higher then that, he was faster then that. You have to be faster then that too. Utilize your one advantage and do it.'

He continually jumped and flipped around in the air, desperately trying to reach the height he sought to achieve. 'Cyrus could have jumped to the balcony with the jumps he was performing. You can't even jump to half that height right now. But you will, keep trying. Keep trying and you will.'

His goal wasn't to master all of form IV in one day. Far from it. Nex might have been impatient at times but he knew how to set realistic goals for himself. And his goal for now was to get one jump off that nearly matched his master's jump. Even if he was off by a foot he'd consider it a success. But he couldn't even reach half of the balconies level. Something was missing. Cyrus mentioned having to empower yourself with the force. Utilizing the force to increase your strength, agility, endurance, and speed to properly go through the motions of form IV. Such knowledge would come in handy if it wasn't for one glaring issue.

"How the kriff do you do that?" he said speaking his mind out loud to no one in particular, "...well, it was a good shot. I'll try it again later."

He noticed he was already sweating, and he already lost track of how long he's been going at it. He figured the best thing for him to do was head on back to the hotel. Wash himself off. And take a nap. He's exhausted himself and he barely accomplished anything. He shook the sweat that accumulated on him-much like how a wet dog would dry itself off- and was on his way back to his hotel room.
