In return, Zuri took a step back, glaring at her visibly unhinged employer. No, she was not intimidated, not by someone like this, in such a setting, even without weapons. . "I do not enjoy killing", she retorted, "I bask in the glory of my kill, as proof of my superiority, but I do not enjoy the kill itself."

She shook her head. "We cooperated. I apologise for friendly fire. But by whose hands Darth Onii would die was not part of our contract." A bit of sleep was wiped from her eyes, the huntress still stuck in brevity mode. "I slew him by immolation. Fire, igniting him with a burst of superheated gas. For... some reason, I found the agony inflicted by it fitting." Speaking this thought out loud, she realised that it was not something she'd usually do.

"Hmph.... Good enough.... For now." The Zabrak relaxed and holstered the lightsaber. "Could have used his corpse, but you are right. It was not in your contract bounty hunter. I will drop you off on Ithor and then we will part our ways, that is also when I will give you your payment. We arrive shortly, so I suggest you get ready to leave." She turned on her heel and marched off. Zuri could quite tell that something changed in the woman. Perhaps it was that weapon after all. This time it bothered not even to reach out to her. Unless it was just an imagination to begin with, her mind coping with the stress of leaving Kass and NexNip behind the way she did?

    Kai- @Kalle
Kai sat on a chair outside watching the others as they trained thinking on the past and possibly the future, thoughts began nagging at him and possibilities of what to do with himself, Deciding to do something he decided to go look for Kass after finding him he decided to see if he could talk to him. "Hey Kass do you have some time chat, or time to waste?" Kai asked looking to him.

After coming back from the hospital, Kass had withdrawn to his room and not spoken to anyone - when Kai came knocking, though, the cyborg was met with a 'come in' from within the hotel room, and would open the door to see Kass eagle-spread on his bed, staring up at the roof.

"Hey, Kass, do you have some time to chat, or time to waste?" he heard the Wroonian ask. He sat up in the bed, and his blue eyes fixed on the likewise blue man. He racked his brain for an occasion where the two of them had ever actually sat down and talked, and came up empty. He blinked at the man. "Yeah, uh, sure," he said, pushing himself up and out of the bed, and fetching his trademark coat. "The Jedi and the old furball are in the gardens, right?"

The Chiss nodded, getting dressed properly and attempting not to mind the presence whose residual influence was still kept within her. She made a mental note to remain wary of lightsabres, seeing how this woman did not seem to be a magician herself. This... palpable sense of impending doom certainly wasn't normal, even the mercenary could tell.

And she was a mercenary by now, there was no denying that. The delusions of her being a just judicator had been shattered by recent events, and Minlan's berating had only been the beginning. It seemed to her, as she stared down at her licence, that the entire last series of days was a single marathon of humiliation and reflection, as if intended by some greater design. The atheistic Chiss, however, decided to discard this very last thought rather quickly. Regardless of faiths and beliefs, the firey fate she had condemned this Kel'Dor to also confirmed her descent into mercenaryhood.

Zuri sighed and left her quarters to look out of one of the large transparisteel windows. Now, they'd go back to where she'd left... and for some reason, she managed to both hope she could return to her old company that she'd grown to like, and that they were already gone, or would shun her, so that there was nothing left for her to return to. But in the end, nothing but waiting would pass the time. And so, she did, watching the planet grow closer, and the droids work in the ship.

In the moonlight their ship descended and the Zabrak met Zuri at the ramp. The woman had the lightsaber on her waist, just in reach for Zuri if she wanted a last shot at changing her fate. A hand was extended forward with a suitcase attached. "Your payment. one hundred thousand credits." She said simple, not even smiling nor frowning, having reached a weird level of neutrality. Something has changed this woman and Zuri could tell. Most likely the revenge was not as tasty as she had hoped, or expected.

"Yeah they are I think, Saw Cyrus and Nexnip training, I have a question what are you thoughts on someone redeeming them self, Also what are your thoughts on pirates?" Kai asked his helmet was still on but had looked like it had been cleaned a while ago.

Zuri grabbed the case, but not without staring at the deactivated sword at Dee's hip. It had been quite prominent in her mind since the... kill, and almost replaced the longing to get away for some time. But her desire to have it had turned to something of a primitive, subconscious fear, even though she paradoxically still wanted to have it.

She asked, "Are you sure you want to... keep your father's weapon? It seems to exert... an influence", with worry. Normally, her M. O. was not to get involved with her clients, but this... this was strange, and different.

As they walked back towards the hotel rooms, Cyrus stopped to check what the hotel was serving this evening. Turned out to be some flank of an animal he'd never even heard of before and some soup made with an edible fungus. Definitely not as tasty as Rynok ribs but it'd do. "Just a thought Nex but you might want to go wash before dinner, one or both of us smells like a Hutt."

Cyrus headed off into his room, thankful to see that the scorch marks had been wiped away, his fingers were not out in the open, and the holes from the blaster bolts hitting walls had been plugged. The Jedi just shook his head. "Kriffin' shame about that data corruption...so close but oh well." He remarked to no one in particular before heading off to scrape the grime off himself and his robes.

"One of those questions is a hell of a lot harder to answer than the other one, Kai," Rondo said, peering at the helmeted man. "What I think of pirates is this: I'm a businessman, I served aboard a starship, and pirates was one of the greatest dangers to both my paycheck and continued existance. So my opinion of pirates is low, like with anybody who decides they're gonna make money off of other people."

The spacer hesitated for a little. "As for redemption... I dunno, Kai. I really don't know. But I think we're all people, and people can be good and bad. Sometimes at the same time."
