"You're not going to ask me to actually fend off an attacker in my sleep right?" he asked, half jokingly, half serious, "because from as far as I know about Jedi training, I wouldn't be surprised if you actually expect me to do that at some point."

As he was instructed, he sheathed his vibroknife back and held it there as if he was contemplating following through with hitting Cyrus. He was a little hesitant at first. He didn't want to actually hit Cyrus. Even with the vibroknife sheathed and basically being just as harmless as a newborn he still had a moment of pause. But he steeled himself, realizing this was part of the demonstration and he wasn't actually attacking his mentor.

He readied himself, and followed through with the strike as he was told...

As unfortunate as it was to think about. Cyrus had to admit that at one point or another in his life that it was likely Nex would be forced to fight someone with another blade or saber. He somewhat hoped this exercise would work out a bit of the Kushiban's hesitation. By the time the swing started, Cyrus was already well and truly gone having leaped up almost to balcony level. The Jedi stayed on the ground a split second before kicked off again, flipping over Nex, and poking him in the back with his index finger. He jumped back again to create some distance. There was roughly five feet between the two of them. Cyrus stood constantly bouncing on his feet, looking like he'd take off into a dead sprint any second.

"Again Nex, attack me like you mean it." The Jedi panted. Even has he bounced, his face was flushed completely red and sweat poured off him practically like a faucet.

Nexnip didn't really know what to expect of Form IV. He noted that Cyrus moved faster now then he's ever seen him before. He also noticed that Cyrus looked more exhausted then he's ever seen him before. But he liked what he saw of this particular form right now. If he could couple his own natural abilities as a Kushiban along with the force, then being able to strike a target from more then just there legs just became more of a likely reality to him. He had a feeling he was going to like this form.

He couldn't help but smile at the thought of him actually able to pull something like this off in the future. He placed the sheathed vibroknife blade in his mouth as he rushed toward Cyrus on all fours to close the distance between them. When they were two feet apart he lept up toward his mentor, relaxing his jaw and grabbing the sheathed knife from his mouth and going in for another strike.

Cyrus brought his leg back into line, pivoting through 90 degrees in order to move with the blow. Already Nex could probably tell he wasn't as quick as when the first attack came. Cyrus poked Nex in the side this time as he went flying by from his leap before flipping over and trying to poke Nex a second time just as the little Kushiban landed.

"Starting to...get the idea?"

Cyrus's exhaustion was apparent. His movements weren't nearly as fast as they were intially. He figured this is why Cyrus mentioned one would need to utilize the force to reinforce ones own stamina, agility, and strength to be able to utilize this form effectively. The movements looked to be very taxing on the body. But they utilized his greatest strengths. Speed and mobility.

As Cyrus went in for his follow up poke Nex gently redirected the finger away from him with a slight force push. He acted as if it was the most dangerous poke in the Galaxy and he couldn't afford to let it poke him. He briefly landed and then lept back off the ground. He wasn't going to try to go so far as leap over Cyrus's head. But instead went for the height he knew he'd accomplish with out flaw. The shoulders.

As he lept over Cyrus's shoulder he tried to poke the clearly worn out Jedi at side of his head with his own finger.

Cyrus stood back up from his failed hit. There wasn't really the time or energy left in his system to dodge it. He cocked his head to the side, acting like he'd actually be hit with something quite heavy in the skull. His ability to reasonably channel the Force to this extent now spent. He fell back onto the grass and held up his arm. "Blarg....I am slain."

He took in gulps of air like a fish out of water, but all in all seemed to be in a rather upbeat mood. "And that...is why Master Skywalker kicks my ass every time."

Nex laughed as he watched his master play along with the hit. He jumped up and lightly landed on Cyrus's chest as the tuckered out man fell backwards. He sat down and just looked at him with a smile across his face.

"So, two hours everyday with this training. I can live with that. However..." he lifted up a finger, the same finger he poked Cyrus with in fact, "I want to see you get better at this Form IV. So then you can teach me it properly. You owe it to your student to be able to teach him how to use it properly. And that means, you need to learn how to use it properly first. But without you know...getting all tired out like this each time. Deal?"

After he gave Cyrus his ultimatum Nex walked off his mentor's chest and kept his eyes squarely on him. He figured they earned a bit of a rest for now. At least Cyrus looked like he really needed one right about now.

"How about we get something to eat and get some rest. It looks like you would really need that right now." he looked down at himself as he heard his own stomach rumbling, he looked back up with a laugh, "I could really go for something too myself."

Cyrus shrugged. "I guess I can do that. Start being a responsible adult and whatnot. Truth be told I hadn't planned on taking an apprentice for quite a few mores...figured I'd have time to get around to learning it. Form IV is never used for extended periods of time anyway....and the longest I've seen Master Skywalker fight like that is three minutes. He always says that it's kind of a last resort, if you can't finish off your opponent in twenty seconds then you should retreat."

With that he heaved himself up and gave Nex a little ruffle on the head. "Sounds good to me, after all that I could eat a whole Bantha."

"Well, truth be told Cyrus." he said looking up at Cyrus with a grin, "I hadn't planned on having a Jedi Master...ever..."

He was glad Cyrus took the time to show him this form. Even if it ended up with having the Jedi exhaust himself to such an extent like this. It was something he could look forward too in his Jedi training. And it helped solidify the thought that he actually stood a fighting chance. He could be more then just a furball of pent up aggression and fury through the force alone. The next step for him was figuring out how to use a lightsaber without hurting himself. But that could wait when he had a lightsaber of his own. As Cyrus believed he would get.

"So what do you feel up too? I hope it's not hospital food to be quite frank."

Cyrus shrugged. Any sort of food sounded really good about now. A big meal was just the thing one needed after such a tiring day. He'd sleep well tonight but everything would probably hurt in the morning. "I was kind of thinking we'd just stuff our faces on whatever they are serving here this evening. Let's go see what the others would like to do though."
