And it was official. Jedi are indeed, crazy, at least this one was. Nexnip now completely understood how Zuri felt about Jedi, if this one was any example of them. How could he be throwing those things around, they were bigger then he was for crying out loud. "...if you could save our friends, save them. You owe them that much at least. You're not off the hook yet magic man." he said with a soul piercing glare, not that the Jedi seemed to be paying attention to him, with him eliciting to use his glowing deflecty sword. Too little too late Nexnip thought to himself. He then decided to just ignore the clearly insane fellow for the time being and poked his head out of cover to devot his attention back to the Stormtroopers. If they just didn't have those damn blasters they wouldn't be in so much danger. They just needed those blasters gone. Then they can take care of this problem with little issue. Spoiler: OOC Force Pulling the blasters out of the Stormtroopers hands, possibly pulling the Stormtroopers themselves. Whatever would be more fun.
Corridors Na'tala felt out of her depth hearing the Jedi and the talking rabbit-creature talk about the Force. The only things she knew about the Jedi had come from outlandish-sounding stories she'd heard. Leaning out from cover, getting a look at the battlefield, the Twi'lek prepared herself for the end, one way or another.
Zuri had deemed it smart to remain in cover, hiding behind a piece of debris torn from the walls by the Jedi - she presumed. As much as she hated to admit it, but she had lost mastery of the situation, having no real clue beyond rough estimations what had just happened and what was still happening. To Kai's query, which she already barely registered, she replied "Not enough to matter! We should try something other than a straight fight here. Those are obviously beyond normal Stormtroopers." Spoiler I'd still like to know whether I it's fine if am carrying an explosive.
Spoiler: OOC Well, your the explosives expert in the team. I would find it rather odd (and partially funny) if you didn't carry around at least something that explodes. The real concern is, do we want to be blowing holes in the ship that may or may not be already full of holes and has its structural integrity compromised.
Spoiler Asking for stuff: This is because I have a huge Deus Ex Machina anxiety and prefer to double-check everything in RPs and RPGs. Ship integrity: I don't know what kind of vessel we're on, and I'm not a Star Wars ship expert (starships in general don't interest me too much), but as a general rule, larger ships in Star Wars tend to be stupidly durable because of the materials they use. Just consider for a moment that the 'windows' are actual slabs of solid see-through steel instead of glass or plastic. Of course, I wouldn't chuck around thermal detonators, but there are smaller things that go boom, or fragmentation grenades, which don't go boom at all.
Spoiler: OOC from my understanding we're on a correlian frigate. The Bloackade Runner from the opening of a New Hope was of the same make. So we're not exactly on the largest ship, considering it fits in a Star Destroyer's hanger bay with no issue. Though Star Destroyers themselves are stupidly large so the comparison might be unfair.
~~ Main Reactor Battle ~~ @UnluckyFellow | @Vulpas | @GobMaw_HellSmasha | @Casavay | @Kalle | @Avenging-Angel The problem with the current flow of battle was that not all survivors focused on combat. Nexnips' rage may have caused havoc, but the Stormtroopers were too determined to let a few slabs bother them, even the push-force appeared to move them little. The blaster shots reflected by the Jedi at least bought some time for Zuri and the others to aim and shoot focused at the Stormtroopers. But in total, the Stormtroopers were eight soldiers that now started to focus their fire on the Jedi holding Nexnip, the fire focusing to some degree at which the Jedi could not block all shots anymore as his robes got a blaster-hole and Nexnip got some fur burned off. Kai, Zuri and Na'tala had cover protecting them so far, however... The deemed dead veteran started to wake up bit with a horrible headache... And once the Jedi would fall, what hope was there for the others to survive this assault? The only good thing so far appeared that the reinforcements stopped and that these soldiers were the final elite! Overcome them and a counter-attack could finally be launched. You may have 2, as exception as being the local demolitions expert.
It seemed like Nexnip's luck ran out. These Stormtroopers didn't seem like the type to just drop their guns. He saw some stumble a bit, but they continued to press on. His luck always seemed to turn out this way. He would have a period of good luck that would be rather decent, and then when he really needed it the most, he got nothing. It became routine at this point in his life, and yet it still surprised him this time. No...wait...it was the burning smell that surprised him. He looked toward his tail just to confirm that-Yep, they singed the tip of his tail. He really couldn't complain all that much though. Other people died. They would have probably been happier with just a singed tail. On the bright side it seemed like this endless wave of Stormtroopers has in fact, ended. Which meant they still had a chance to get through this. But it wasn't going to be easy. What would really help right now was if all their attention was directed elsewhere. Away from his friends. Which gave the little Kushiban an idea. Nexnip was no stranger to being a distraction. He was able to get away with so many instances of being one due to his small and nimble frame. It was time to put his one advantage to good use. If the Jedi was so convinced that he was the one tearing the ship apart, then perhaps he could tear just a few pieces of it off so he could get behind the Stormtroopers and bring confusion and disorder amongst their formation. The Jedi was too preoccupied with the current matter at hand to notice the Kushiban slip away from him and force pulling a loose floor panel near him to make himself a nice little hole to jump into. Luckily the space between the floor panels and the internal bits to the ship had enough room for Nexnip to travel through without too much issue. The perks of being as small as he was. Which made it easy for him to crawl underneath the Stormtroopers formation and get behind them. He crawled just far enough behind them so he can be in the perfect spot for his maneuver. Suddenly the floor panel the back most trooper the was standing on burst upward from underneath him, launching the trooper into the ceiling with the floor panel following closely behind. Both floor panel and trooper hit the floor with a thud as Nexnip jumped out of the new hole in the floor. "Why hello, there" he said with a satisfied smirk. The floor panel that previously fell to the floor rose up and floated in front of the little critter, ready to take the brunt from inevitable return fire. Spoiler: OOC @Uriel1339 I want to run my plan by you before I actually go through with it. I wanted to force pull a floor panel close to me and crawl under the floor space thanks to being so small. Crawl to behind their formation, and then force push the floor panel I'd be below and pop up far enough behind the Stormtroopers so I can use the floor panel I popped off as cover, and possibly a projectile if I need to lead them away. Also I'll yell really loud to get their attention so they turn around all dumbfounded with their stupid Stormtrooper faces. Either that or I ambush them with a barrage of debri and bodies. EDIT: will be editing post accordingly
Corridors Seeing the stormtroopers start to concentrate on the Jedi Na'tala sprayed the Imperials with blaster fire in an attempt to distract them. Thankfully the stormtroopers were the only ones in sight meaning, hopefully, that the Imperial assault was at an end. Risking it the Twi'lek darted to another piece of cover, moving closer to where Kromar lay, intent on checking on the downed veteran.
In all the chaos, a stirring amongst the dead might just go unnoticed. But a long-winded, tortured groan followed shortly after, and a hand reached up to pull its owner over the debris. Alastain, more beaten and weathered than ever, was in a sorry state. But his other hand grabbed a blaster rifle from a fallen soldier, and propped it up against the debris for support. He squeezed the trigger, firing off the last barrage of blaster fire he could, before he slumped against the debris again. The man's breathing was labored, and his face all scrunched up in pain.
