Cyrus' stride slowed as he felt the awful feeling that had been plaguing him all day shift into something far more sinister. Master Skywalker had always drilled into his students to be ever mindful of feelings experienced through the Force. He'd felt the dread before both on Talus and as a much younger padawan but this was something entirely different. To Cyrus it felt as though the feeling itself was pushing through the veil of reality intent on hurting his very soul. Alastain and the others had already rushed ahead while Cyrus was still recovering from the awful spike of feeling. Time seemed to slow as he saw a panel of durasteel wall rip itself free and fly towards the troopers. He saw what appeared to be the old veteran being struck down by the soulless troopers. The wave of feeling indicating a Force user hits him as the creature that could be mistaken for a giant meerkat spoke. The jedi previously hadn't had any reason to thing it was anything more than the Chiss' pet. "So it's -you-..." He could feel the anger radiating off of the little creature as the stormtroopers probably started getting thrown into the walls. The jedi would run forward and try to grab the little creature as he headed towards the battle, hopefully disrupting it's concentration. "Seems you and I need to have a little talk soon." If unimpeded, the jedi would continue to the pile of debris where the vet might have fallen, ready to reflect the enemy's blaster bolts.
~~ Main Reactor Battle ~~ @UnluckyFellow | @Vulpas | @GobMaw_HellSmasha | @Casavay | @Kalle | @Avenging-Angel The combat went down into complete chaos. Animated by the Veterans actions, the rest of the Rebels also rose to their feet and threw themselves at the Stormtroopers. Unloading their rifles into the stormtroopers until they clicked empty, and then they slammed their rifles into the troopers. Which did not endure long as they were shot down to the ground within seconds. Nexnip's both powers had unleashed in full extent. The slabs from the ceiling and side panels toppled them over, as well as the follow-up from an invisible hand slapping the reinforcements right and left. The echo of the force-extent could be felt by Cyrus as a dark wave that impeded his regular senses and his combat capabilities as if the small furball had become a pylon and strangled his force, due to the origin of darkness. The hatred was consuming the little creature, whether it knew or not. Kai, Na'tala and Zuri were the only non-force-users still standing while there were still a dozen Imperials. Debris shaped quite some cover for the crew, and they had two force users on their side. Would they play their cards smart they could still turn this battle around. From their various angles, only Na'tala could spot Alastain who appeared to be not moving at all. In the mess nobody could tell where he was hit, but the fact he laid in the mass-grave of Imperials and Rebels, one could only assume it was a direct, and critical hit.
Kai- @Casavay Kai's watched as the rebels get cut down, Being shot down after there charge into the storm troopers and quickly depleted a part of him knew this battle was nearly over. "I think we may ha-" he was interrupted as the room began getting torn apart a small rodents shouting as this went on he ducked and took cover as parts of the tiles and a a body landed near him. He stayed low and crawled keeping down low he went, likely there was still storm troopers around, His guts turned as he looked up to the piles of mass dead in the room. Not a good sign many of them where there own. He wondered for a moment how the rest of the ship was doing but dismissed the thought as he had to watch out for himself at the moment. As the storm troopers began getting back up he thought for once it was doing of the Jedi, "Try To keep the Storm troopers occupied Jedi, Try to do whatever you did before and keep them either on the ground or unable to fire Tie them up for us!" Kai shouted to the jedi as He Rolled over into cover. near there bounty hunter to try and see if they could try to play this right and survive. "ahh Bounty hunter Zuri was it, How many of the storm troopers you think you can take out with your next shots and which ones? If we can coridantes are shots we may be able to take a fair bit of them out before they can return fire think you can take the ones on the right while I get the center?" he asked her now looking to Zuri?
Suddenly Nexnip felt like he was being grabbed by something and being hoisted up in the air. It took a bit of franctic looking around to realize that it was because he was grabbed. As soon as he was lifted in the air he realized what ever was tossing the Stormtroopers around ceased. At first he thought it was Zuri trying to calm him down. But it turns out it wasn't Zuri, but the Jedi. The Jedi that was conviently absent during the whole exchange. Seeing the Jedi just infuriated him further, his fur changing to a brighter red. "You! Y-you why...you...let me go...LET ME GO!" he shouted to the Jedi. It seemed to be in a lot angrier tone then he intended to be for some reason. Though in his current state of distress he didn't care how angry he sounded. The Jedi abandoned them, and it was only now that he showed up. After everyone decided to throw themselves at the Stormtroopers. He had every right to be angry. "Where were you!?!? You were suppose to help us!!! Where did you go!?!" He questioned the Jedi. Though it sounded more like yelling then asking questions. "You could have saved him! You could have saved all of them!!! You're the one with the magic powers and glowing sword! What sort of Jedi are you if you can't even save anyone!!" As he began shouting more debri picked up and seemed to be thrown about randomly all over the place. Wall panels previously undamged were torn off the walls flying about in a whirlwind of chaos. Spoiler: OOC Debri being thrown about isn't really concentrated. Thanks to the Jedi picking the furball up. Though a good amount of it should find its way toward the Stormtroopers. Though some will probably end up flying toward his friends too. Have fun with that.
Corridors Na'tala paused when she spotted Kromar lying among the dead. She'd heard of the half-Theelin whilst spying on the Empire during the Galactic Civil War and nothing she'd heard suggested that he was easy to kill. The Twi'lek hurriedly ducked into cover, saddened by the deaths of the men in the reactor chamber, and reloaded her blaster rifle. There were only twelve stormtroopers left in the ruined corridor against the four (five) Rebels, although the Jedi was worth more than any of them. Maybe they stood a chance of surviving and getting to Yavin IV after all. She was surprised by the talking creature, like the alien it had ridden she didn't recognise the species, and more than a little concerned when it began shouting at the Jedi.
Cyrus hops up and over the debris, quickly walking the length of the hall towards the Imperials, blade out in front. He starts to exude a calming aura as he once again channels the Force to make full use of his defensive form. "Little one, calm yourself. He arrived before I did and leaped without looking." Two bolts come in from the remaining Stormtroopers, one misses and the other he sends back at the man. "We may still be able to tend to him but we need to clear out the Imperials. So put your own power to good use and stop ripping the ship to pieces."
What the Jedi said seemed to have calmed the little one. He felt at ease...for a moment. He was calmed, but his anger was not sedated. Because a creeping thought entered his mind. The Jedi had to be lieing to him. There's no way he was telling the truth. Everything he said was nothing short of impossible. He just wanted to get himself out of trouble. Nexnip wasn't having any of that. "Have you looked at me?! Do I look like I can tear a ship apart?!? What power aside from hiding and runing away do I have?!?? You're just trying to lie to me!!! You never told me what kept you from helping us!!!" He yelled, infuriated with the Jedi at this point.
Cyrus continues to bounce back bolts, trying to draw a bit of fire from the crew defending the reactors. Having this discussion now was probably not the best thing but better now than in half a ship. "That feeling stopped me. You felt it too, didn't you? Like something was unspeakably wrong in the universe. Not the point right now...whether you're doing it on purpose or not, you're a Force-user, little one."
Well the Jedi has been able to fully sedate the Kushiban's anger for the time being. Only to have it replaced with complete and utter confusion. "Zuri is right, Jedi are crazy" he said with the blankest stare he could give the Jedi. As he did so the sudden malestorm of chaos seemed to have subsided for the time being. "What the slag is a force?" He asked cocking his head to the side and raising an ear up.
Cyrus rolls his eyes, electing to set the creature down not that it wasn't hellbent on breaking everything, now able to devote both hands to saber defense. "Not really the time for a long answer. It's what let you throw that slab of wall at these guys."
