Star Wars - Rise of the Sith (Post Episode VI)

  1. There's another Jedi on the ship? Great, Zuri is probably thrilled to hear about that, Nexnip thought to himself. Like one making her feeling useless is bad enough, but two? Oh she is probably not taking that well. He tried nuzzling against the side of her head to calm her down a bit. It seemed to work well plenty of other times. And it would be better off having her calm and collected for the inevitable fight in the main reactor.

"Think there Going For a charge!" Kai yelled down the hall to anyone coming to reinforce his side. He aimed his blaster above the imperials and put it to low power just enough to take down some of the paneling above the imperials. "Hope this works." he said as he began blasting upwards at the storm troopers hoping to have some of the paneling crash on some of them and cause others to fall. "Got some shots up at there flanks from my position, A few more guns here should be able to really make them hurt." he said over the rebel coms and to any allies that where nearby.
  3. @Uriel1339 are we at the main reactor yet or are we still in transit? Will edit post later if we happen to be seeing any of the fighting.

Zuri softly hummed in approval as her fuzzy companion comforted her, taking a deep breath as she slowed down. It was probably best not to think of Nexnip as a sentient right now, and so she banished the thought, enjoying the fleeting break from the fighting.
  5. Now with Zuri calmed Nexnip didn't have to worry about her trying to push herself too hard...at least for the time being. She always seemed to do that, especially when she ended up having to protect him when he wound up getting into trouble. Which made him feel bad about being such a load to carry, with being little more then emotional support and the occasional scout and spy. He had to more then once use his seemingly harmless and delicate look to appear to be little more then a roaming critter or a lost pet. Despite being an actual family pet for five years on Coruscant, he didn't enjoy being looked down as a simpleminded animal. Though he had to admit such misconceptions made it rather easy to sneak in to areas ignored and unbothered. But outside of this deception, he was afraid he could offer little else to his Bounty hunter friend. A Kushiban's small and rather fragile frame left them rather unhelpful in a firefight.

The smoke finally cleared through the active vents, the Imperials became clear targets. They were being downed at a bigger rate, but still it was too little to stop them. As if something was pressing down their necks to push them forward they kept on going and fire, reducing the rebels to a quarter of the original force.

Kai became less a priority, but he held out until the jedi and his gathered forces arrived, finally they could launch a proper flanking strike! Well, if it wouldn't be for the fact that both Nexnip and Cyrus felt... Uncomfortable. Something was amiss with the way the galactic troopers fought. They couldn't put their finger on it, though.

What mattered only is that while the three rows of five stormtroopers each continued to march for the main reactor, another fifteen started to march in, their emotions hidden behind their helmets and their blasters pointing at the Rebel fireline, where the Twi'lek attempted to keep the rebels morale intact, but it became harder and harder with each falling rebel and the apparent unlimited soldiers of the Empire. How many more would be to come?!

I really love the group composition and interaction so far, keep it going guys, also glad you joined us @UnluckyFellow :)

Also there are 30 stormtroopers moving in two blocks, each of you feel free to take out 3-5 because they are easy targets, but the remainders of NPCs will pretty much perish so we can make this more player-focused for you lot - now that you are finally together! :)
  7. I agree wholeheartedly. I love the team dynamic we have going for us. Can't wait to see everyone flesh out their characters and see where we go from here.

Suddenly that good feeling Nexnip was having suddenly subsided. Replaced with a feeling of...dread...he felt...cold. He knew space was a cold vacuum by this time but he shouldn't be able to feel that inside a ship. What was even stranger was that this sudden bone chilling feeling didn't feel like the room itself got colder but that...he got colder. His insides felt like they were freezing over. It wasn't exactly the most pleasant feeling, and as a result his fur reflected his feelings by turning to a deep shade of blue. There was no use trying to use his mood fur for hiding now. Not when he felt like this. He hoped this horrible feeling would pass. And he felt as if it had something to do with the stormtroopers.

For some reason these troopers didn't seem to act like the others they encountered previously. They seemed emotionless...relentless...cruel. He didn't even want to look at them they seemed so monstrous to him. So his eyes darted else where around the room. Battle has taken his toll in the room they were in. Wall panels and ceiling panels looked damaged and looked like they could fall off any second. If the wall panels and floor panels happened to hit the Stormtroopers it would help slow their advance, possibly thin out their numbers a bit. Nexnip looked on and just hoped it would happen. They needed all the luck he could give right now.

Using the environment against the stormtroopers. Force pulling the damaged wall panels and ceiling tiles to barrage the Troopers with them. Hopefully to thin their number and slow up their assault. Keeping them at bay.

Alastain saw the steady, endless stream and his expression turned to a grim, tight-lipped smile. The old warrior looked out over the chaotic battlefield, emotion tearing inside of him with the same kind of reckless, mindless savagery. The old warrior slowed down to a halt for a moment there, as if momentarily paralyzed by the sudden bleak perspective on the situation. For a moment, he looked ancient.

He changed his blaster's firing mode from stun to standard bolts.

With a mighty, bellowing cry, like a charging bull, Alastain stampeded towards the very front of the battle, hopping up onto fallen debris - used for cover by the rebels - and firing his blaster rifle relentlessly. He trailed a wide arc of blaster fire through the enemy ranks, all kinds of precision be damned. He was unloading his clip into the stormtroopers, right up until the firing mechanism started clicking, notifying him that the blaster clip was spent.

In the moment of sudden silence from his blaster rifle, the return fire saw him topple down and off the debris, disappearing completely into the clutter and smoke and shifting bodies.
  9. @Kalle did you just decide to go out with a bang? Because if you just died, I feel like doing something incredibly forceful and dark sidey as a follow up. I'll gladly release the anger for some dramatic effect
