Seeing how the Stormtroopers fled, Zuri let up and allowed her furry friend to climb her shoulders. The Code reminded Hunters like her constantly that everything without a bounty was not to be killed or needlessly brutalised, and so her interest in the fleeing soldiers was understandably slim. "Yes. He's competent and not lax like most Alliance members", she said in reply, suppressing the urge to pet the little thing. While she respected Nexnip, it was hard to remember that he wasn't a pet, at times. Knowing that this veteran wouldn't react favourably to a 'Wait up!', Zuri simply quickened her pace and followed him into the Main Reactor.
Alastain waved his blaster rifle triumphantly while he marched onwards toward the reactor. "We'll be on schedule for our arrival at Yavin IV, don't you think?" he shouted over his shoulder as he walked, in an alarmingly good mood.
Hyperdrive --> Main Reactor Cyrus started running as fast as his own legs and the Force could carry him as soon as they were certain the enemy was in retreat. He'd probably sleep like a rock after all this. Slowing down a bit when he caught up to Alastain so as not to charge headlong into stormtroopers without at least a bit of help. "We most definitely should, I'd hate to keep master Skywalker waiting."
"The faster we move, the faster I get paid. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate being able to pay back my dues, but every second I am here is a second I am not working. And every bolt I shoot is a bolt I am paying for, that is not contributing to my work", mentioned Zuri, who was listening in on their conversation. "By the way, should the impenetrable wall of energy sword not take the lead?", she asked, raising an eyebrow at Cyrus. Her tone could be taken as malicious by the uninitiated, though snarky yet neutral detachment was merely the normal modus operandi of her talking.
Now Nexnip remembered what a Jedi was. It was the people Zuri told him were...what did she call them again? A bunch of magical crazy people that make her look bad. Zuri didn't really seem to like Jedi too much. Not that he couldn't blame her for feeling that way. The Jedi seemed to have cut a swath through the imperial forces with seemingly little effort. Kind of made him want to point out how well she was doing herself to comfort her. But he decided against it, with being so close to a bunch of strangers. However, Nexnip on the other hand, wasn't really sure what to feel about Jedi. He doesn't really know who they are or what they stand for himself. He'll pass judgement later when he find out. Though that didn't stop him from joining Zuri in staring down the Jedi. He's the one with the crazy glowy sword, might as well let him use it and turn this situation around.
Cyrus snickered just a bit as they all ran along. "Don't worry, I will once we get there. Can't fight like a madman all day though. Reminds me, seems I'm not the only one with fancy magic tricks on this ship. So which one of you is it?"
"What, you can't sense them?" asked Alastain, peering at the Jedi. Either he thought Cyrus was a liar, or he thought he was incompetent for failing to divine the identity of the would-be Jedi.
Reassured that Cyrus would provide some cover, Zuri revealed, "It's not me, at any rate, unless I'm an undiscovered talent." She didn't know much about Jedi, but figured that she'd know if she was one.
The jedi sighed. "Given everything going on right now? No. The feelings of the crew and Imperials cloaks the area. You try pinpointing a small candle in a hall of mirrors."
