Pentastar alignment was a legacy era faction that fought against the empire and imperial remnant, and was rulsed by Grand Moff Ardus Kaine. I don't really know what the symbol "stands for" Other than the fact that it looks like a star. I was just pointing out how the new order flag for VII looks very similar to the pentastar alignment's symbol.
Wookies would have been better, I mean honestly, what good is Imperial battle armor if mere gretchin lobbing primitive age spears pierce it? At least 7 foot tall Wookies have physicality to explain this feat. Ewoks are more... what were you smoking brah... But yes, directional disagreements aside, he ultimately did succeed in creating a space epoch. After the whole rolling paragraph full of exposition thingy, they don't really offer much exposition. It just sort of was, and with the whole mythical formula ended up paying off. So... never then?
Ugh, don't remind me of Rebels. I started watching it this week and that episode about the Stormtrooper school was painful. Training their military into scheming, backstabbing imbeciles just to explain why the movie Stormtroopers were terrible at their jobs is just..... Ugh....
You mean these guys? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Pentastar_Alignment I thought Stormtrooper armour is geared to protect against energy weapons, which is why it is weak against physical weapons like Ewok Spears. Sorry, not familiar with Aftermath. But I am familiar with Rebels, and the EU, and can't think of any clashes between the two. So I am wondering what these retcons are that you mention?
Edit, actually quoting What? All I said is the original SW has some flaws but because it's epic, we forgive them. Like Ewoks, they were a stupid choice IMO, but still didn't ruin the movie. But they weren't effective against lazers either.
I'm not sure what you're responding to? I said I'm going to miss Kyle Katarn since he was more then likely retconned out of the EU.
