I was wondering how you were planning on dealing with getting standard bearers through doorways? In particular, the space marines with the giant flagpoles on their back I think will interesting.

They talked about that in a live stream, they still don't really know how banners will work.
They are thinking that they will be invis for the player who holds them.

Going through doors is going to be tricky, might just make extra large doors.

We have our top mechanicus and tech priests working round the clock to find some way of making them fit through doors... Our best answer right now is making the doorways larger to accommodate the banners glory.

Ah I apologise, I generally drift in and out during the Q&A sessions, my TZ means they are on at like 2am. I was thinking maybe have the banner holder detatch the banner from its stand when they walk indoors to make it look like this.

The banner would need to replace the offhand weapon to work though, so IDK how it will work balance-wise.

I think the obvious solution is to cut the Marines in half at the waist on the way in or out.

The truth:nah...just make the banner pass thought the door-frame.Easy-peasy..

The only time that clipping is acceptable is when Marines get "clipped" in half by a Power Klaw.

Also..Orks might be a problem too with their shapes and sizes and (fetishes) accessories on their back.Clipping you say?
