BoLS seems to have gotten hold of some alternate Escher paint schemes by GW's Specialist Games team.
More on Necromunda.
The starter game will be up on preorder on the 11th of November.
It is set in the Zone Mortalis tunnels of the Underhive of Hive Primus. Hence the name Necromunda: Underhive.
There will also be a rulebook called Gang War up on preorder, which moves the action out of the enclosed spaces of the Underhive and up into the open spaces and workplaces of the lower Hive, across 3-dimensional battlefields of Sector Mechanicus and other structures.
The 64-page book contains advanced rules, plus progression based campaigns, and Turf-War campaigns
There's also a dedicated website for Necromunda.
Which has background on the gangmembers in Underhive from Houses Goliath and Escher, and their houses.
Painting guide video, at least for the scenery.
A Start Playing video.
There are free downloads for a Reference Sheet and a Blank Roster sheet, plus there is a placeholder for Legacy Gangs which is rules for your models "from yesteryear". So those with old-school Necromunda models should be able to field them in this game at some point in the future.
Images from November's White Dwarf.
There are also going to be Necromunda style bases at $6.25 a pack that didn't seem to make the leak
Sounds good, but the thing I'm trying to figure out is if the box game is going to be mono- or multi-pose.
Some of those look pretty mono-pose.
More on Necromunda from Warhammer Community.
Includes the video interview with the Designers Andy Hoare and David Thomas I previously posted.
Though it has hints on where they plan to go with the new Necromunda.
Plus there's coverage on some of the other sets being released with or after Underhive.
House Escher gang.
House Goliath gang.
Barricades and Objectives set.
Bulkhead Doors set.
Plus there's also a Necromunda Facebook page.
The veteran players can see that a lot of this is based of the original games, including the Bulkheads.
And I've recently realised I have quite a few of those old Necromunda bulkheads!
If you look closely at the models for each gang you will see that there are Five different bodies in each set, with Two of each body. Yet there are at least Ten heads and Ten sets of arms.
I can't tell if the legs are separate from the torsos, or if they are modelled as a single body. Though it does look like it is a single body with a choice of head and arms.
Necromunda: Underhive unboxing video.
Necromunda is getting its first none Ganger character you can hire.
A Bounty Hunter.
A Beastman Bounty Hunter.
Gor Half-Horn is an update/homage to an RT model of an IG Beastman Packmaster, right down to his weapons.
And he's just the first additional character for Necromunda.
