I believe during the twitch where they showed us weapons, hundreds of them, we saw Spears... I wanted to know what other people think. Will they be one-handed or two-handed? As to what we know it takes much time to create animations, so they will propably be one handed... but Asuryan in the heavens, how are one handed spears going to look? And work especially? These are my two weeks long nightmares, even counting the fact we are closer and closer to the release. (With all that lag in place, lol)
They are post launch, along with other two handed weapons, spears, hammers. I am sure we would get them sooner rather than later they are a signature weapon, you could argue, for the Warlocks and Farseers
I feared cause we´ve seen them and someone told me "Oh, one handed for sure" that they will be so. Thank you, I can sleep nicely again.
Definetely two handed, since in the lore it's described as a both ranged and melee weapon, plus it's too heavy to be wielded with one hand
Another thing I forgot to ask for. This. If I am ever to see random assaults running around with thunderhammers our Shees need this. (Even if its lore wisely for the Exarch)
I'm not sure if they're still to be available at launch, but indeed - they will be implemented as one-handed first, and then possibly reworked when other two-handed weapons are introduced (which will take some time - Nathan implied they will do 2h weapons well after TEQ stuff).
they were planned to be one handed (thrown?) weapon for launch if i remember correctly, and only because we could buy this beauty.
At the moment in the TT rules they are one handed so you can gain a bonus for fighting with two weapons. Seems to have applied to the game mechanics as well, although I don't really see the viability of one handed spear usage without a shield.
