If you're going to be a smartass about something you have to include the first part. Do you park the transport right next to or in line of sight of the objective? If so you're a dumbass. if not then the other team has a chance of destroying it. Or are you just the best fuckin transport protector out there? Just stand with it or drive it around the whole match? Or you could just have a deep seated desire to be a dick to people for no apparent reason. Hmmm
Sure they work fine, but we're talking TTK of like 25 seconds of uninterrupted rockets into the back of a stationary target vs ~3 seconds of a melta + bomb.
What you're telling me is that you don't think there are people that are fairly dedicated in cracking XP pinatas in a game where your rewards are solely based on how much XP you gained? Hrrm..
The point stands though, you don't leave your transport, it lives much longer. The only thing that needs a "fix" here is the reward for drivers for doing so.
Fastest Ork TTK on a vehicle is 10 seconds, which consists of 2 power klaw attacks, and running double sticky stikkbombs(kraks). This only works point blank, and only works on stationary targets and only works when hitting the rear armor of a vehicles and requires the ork to be standing still for the entire duration. Melta guns on the other hand can be used at range from any angle with no reduction in potency, require only 0.1 seconds of physical contact for a meltabomb, can be used on the move, and kills 3 times faster than the klaw. Rokkits do have a longer range, but have a shit travel speed, are only 50% likely to stay on target after 10m, require 6 total rockets (assuming all hit rear armor, makes tons more noise than a melta gun, and with 1 second charge time and 1 second reload time per rokkit. Meaning a rokkit, while at a safer range still take 4 times longer than a melta gun. BALANCED
