We're biding our time for the Wolf Time..... ooooor actually waiting for more work to be done to us since we're not like the other more codex compliant Chapters. Wolf Priests/etc...
Wolf Priests and Apothecaries aren't a 1:1 comparison since the Wolf Priest is both Apothecary and Chaplain and their functionality would be different, just to give one example. While it'd be possible to push them in without that and all the other little differences and just give us the basic paint jobs, I feel they're just waiting since it was easy just to plop the banana marines in since they're just Ultras with an easier to hit pain scheme. Just trying to give a possible rationale.
Blood Angels are the same way. Their Apothecaries serve as Chaplains that are called Sanguinary Priests because the dedicated chaplains serve to direct the Death Company. Since Blood Angels get the standard Apothecary I'd think Space Wolves will get the same, at least initially.
True (to the last part,) just could not really be working on it much as they try to get some of the other races done and plan to put them in a bigger update.
Nah, they will be different. In this game the Wolf Priests will not have access to Bolters or Chainswords, the main weapons will be the Crozius Arcanum. This has been confirmed by Brent. There have also been speculations about the Space Wolves' capturing class (Grey Hunter) being able to switch the primary ranged weapon for a close combat weapon like the Chaos Traitor.
