So it's coming tomorrow? great. Has anyone got a hold of it and played already? I know some people have. TotalBiscuit tweeted yesterday that he had it on his iPad and would reply to say if it's any good, the fact that he hasn't said anything (at least yet) makes me think that he's either not invested enough time on it, or it's neither good nor bad (if it were bad I'm sure he would have said how bad it was).
I played the first 4 Missions, I have to say that it is really well made, it takes a lot of strategy to accomplish missions and the pricing seems to be fair. I'll tell you more later, up until now I can definetely recommend it.
From TotalBiscuit's twitter: "So Space Wolf is pretty good so far. Mixture of tactical battle game and deck builder. Lots of 40k items to geek out over." "Dunno about the business model since there's booster packs and stuff but I'm enjoying it so far. It's not an awful videogame!" "Weird thing is that Mr Space Wolf has like 20 different weapons on him. "Use Heavy Bolter!" "Now use Flamer". WHERE ARE YOU KEEPING THEM?!" "I can get over that though. There's a bunch of cool mechanics, interesting crafting system, varied tactical combat, its neat" "What I really love is the dev actually seems to know their shit regarding 40k lore. They made a real effort" "You get a combi-plasma in your starter deck. It has a chance to explode in your face and hurt you. Very grimdark" His opinion is one that I can truly rely on, so it seems Space Wolf is actually pretty good, sweet, still gonna wait for the PC version.
Well, I got the game earlier today, I played it so much I lost 99% of my battery on my Ipad by playing it straight for 4 hours. From what I've played so far, this game is a blast. It has plenty of challenge and you will need to redo missions and strategies MANY times! I love this! for once there is a game that has REAL challenge and not just OP enemies! It seems to sit very well with the lore, although CSM and SM are a "bit" weak, but I don't care. I haven't done any payments yet, but I think it can get pretty rough without them later on. Well, I shall get to you guys on this later when I get to finish it. Which hopefully is not for a VERY long time!
