I don't know about that dude. But, the basic social group in the game it's a squad, so the smallest guild ship could be a squad ship size.
the question is irrelevant if the game will not have personal space ship for 2-3 years(or more) from now. So the players and the guild get nothing.
the concept was based around the current popularity of "player housing" thats rife in MMO's these days, people want a place they can deck out with useless furnishings and bE would be stupid not to accomodate such desires at a reasonable profit of course, wether its lore friendly or not is irrelevant
Oh sure, it's "irrelevant", but I would still like an answer. Sure, we get nothing "at launch" ,but I'm asking WHEN we get something, WHAT did they advertise we would get? See this, Mr. Grig? This was all someone had to say
To be quite honest, I have to agree that space ships are not a priority =/ (But would be soo cool) The game has many main gameplay mechanics that need to be refine... and add.
I know that it may be a point of argument and more then a few people will be against it, but I would REALLY REALLY like it if I can bring what ever race I'm playing were ever my friends/guildies are going, in the PvP world battles sure my Tau is against Space marines I'm ok with that, but let me have access to guild friends cruisers and PvE groups. Nathan said that he dose not want to separate people who buy content right? Then at the vary least I should be able to hang out with friends I have made as a Ork or Space marine or elder even if I'm a Tau right? I don't think its to much to ask for guilds to be open to all races, and the "cruiser" or guild ship being chosen from the options available $60 for a cruiser is abit much but id happly Buy a Tau ship to call my base of operations and want to invite people to hang, if that also gave me options for PvE missions that are unique to Tau all the better, if we could select a basic layout even more better. If Guilds are Faction locked I will be sad for it, and hope that I have enough character slots to play with my friends and play what I want while making new friends, ill happly drop $100 to play Tau but im not dropping $200 to play Tau and play with any friends I may pick up along the way, if that's the case ill just wait tell Tau drop and hope that there is enough of the player community left to play with.
OK, can I rephrase my question to drop the hostilities? cuz I don't want to be that kind of guy right now, the hostile one Let's fast-forward to a mental state in which space ships are about to be released for everyone. Is it about to be players-get-their-own-ships kind of system? Or is it guilds-get-space-ships-and-players-need-to-start-a-guild-if-they-want-a-ship system?
