Indeed, most of the imperial guard aren't even aware of what they're holding off. Most of them are ill informed of the threats out there in the universe, when the aliens come to their doorstep they only have one chance to push back and defend even though they might know little about their enemy.

Orcs - More numbers less quality Eldar - Less number more quality CM and SM will find themselves in between these two. Although numbers might not mean anything if EVERYTHING is evenly instanced. If that is the case I think eldar and CM are going to wipe the floor. It depends on the servers too, I remember some really organized Order on WAR doing city pushes at like 3am on NA servers to have the 10:1 pop advantage.

As much as i dont want to agree with this Heritic, he has a point lol. You need to keep in mind the Tyrnids as well, and if the Dev team is already as involved as it is now i think its safe to say they will be keeping a close eye on how the battle progresses, particularly on the first few planets/campains. F2P orks are dominating the other races? Time for the 'Gaunt waves to take them down a few notches. Orks are our only (current) F2P army (no other horde youll notice) but thats the whole idea, to create lots of orks! Space marines are the bread and butter of the 40k world, even many people who are fans of the other races will prob still have that Chapter of SM that is the first or favourite. But whos to say that you can always play SM? Maybe sometime next year or later they will have a campain thats Tau, IG (F2P), Necrons and Dark Eldar? With community being able to influence what races fight next? There are multiple tools that can be introduce for the Dev team to keep things from being all SM. Space Marine was already done, now its time for Eternal Crusade
