There shall be a full scale domination of this sector, and we shall taint the worlds until our enemies embrace chaos or die serving the dark gods in one way or the other. But for now let us do something i love doing to pass the time, pillage the orcs, they always have such nice equipments laying around with no clue what it is or what it does.
A (not entirely) serious attempt of mine to imagine how the player base of every faction will look like: Space Marines: GW's poster boys, specifically Ultrasmurfs. Has the biggest fanbase, but also has many twelve-year-olds who will start screaming incoherently with high-pitched voices when their Ultra-Sue gets killed by anything else than a CSM. Also has Space Furries (Wolfy Wolf Wolfs). Chaos Space Marines: Will have angry 16-year-olds (Khornate), Dubstep Fans, Furries and regular Perverts (Slaaneshi), people who like to watch pimples popping on YouTube and toilet humor (Nurglites) and plain old dicks (Tzeentchians). Eldar: Angsty Emo Teenagers who dream of "bittersweet revenge" and "dark actions", particularly in the ranger class. Are very likely to publish kill streak videos in black and white with Linkin Park playing in the background. Also have a significantly higher amount of female players than the other factions thanks to the fact that being male and/or bald is not mandatory to play and the Eldar are pretty much Elves in Space. Orkz are composed of two subgroups: F2P Boys: Have at best a rough grip of the English language and can not work as a team for the sake of their dear life, but will drastically outnumber all other factions. Knowing either Russian or Brazilian Portuguese may or may not give the player a chance to understand the obscenities that fill the air and blot out the sun. Could overwhelm all other factions if Zerg Tyranid Rush wasn't their only tactic. Nobs: The neckbeard is strong in this one. Will probably contain the most tabletop or PnP enthusiasts*, resulting in them having an Ork persona 24/7 and shouting in poorly faked Cockney accents if they are not micspamming "Da Ork Song" or similar titles. May or may not be the most coordinated group (given their experience on the tabletop) but lack the numbers to accomplish anything and can not rely on the Boys who will generally do the exact opposite of what they are supposed to do. * At least until the Imperial Guard gets released and all the people with a WW II fetish go completely bonkers.
I don't! We're just sittin' 'ere yackin' about when there's humies we could be krumpin! But yeah, this is fun. I'm loving how the ork players have a habit of typing on ork on the forums. xD
Are we sure that the Imperial Guard is getting released? Seems like they would get stomped pretty heavily by... well, any of the other factions. Also not getting the WWII joke, but I'm not well versed on Warhammer lore outside of the Salamanders, so I'm probably missing something obvious.
now dat's wot im talkin about! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *windows error*
Afaik, the devs mentioned that all other factions would get into the game eventually (safe for the Tyranids, who will be PVE enemies), so long as the game gets enough "interest" (a.k.a. cash)
