one of the gaurdsmen said "i think it is a little to late for that hope" before his head popped like a zit from havoc bolts. the sargent shouted "return fire!!" the last two of the gaurdsman as well as their sargent cover fired for magos. "sir" the sargent said "keep a good eye on my troop for me?" then he looked at his men. they all had the same look in their eye's. then it hit magos they where going to charge into the chaos rear to give him the time he need to make the assault, but what of the servitor where did it come to? magos saw that 50 feet ahead of him was the servitor that had all the krak and five of the frag grenades but the different thing about it was that its head was shot nearlt clean off. then magos snaped his head around to see they started to charge.
Magos was stunned to see Guardsmen to rush so blindly on such a terrible foe.They stood no chance...yet they did it anyway!It was not the first time to see heroic sacrifices of the common Guardsmen and it never failed to inspire him with shock and awe no matter how much he replaced his body parts with machine.The veneration of those heroes were eternal! Without not a moment to tarry Magos started runing as much as his bulky structure allowed him,followed by his Flame Thrower Battle-Servitor.He kept his stance as low to the ground as he could.He needed to reach for that Servitor it was their only shot!
as magos was crawling (crawling right) he spotted the serviror only ten feet away from him. as magos got to the servitor he heard sound blast from behind him. his last servitor scrambeld to cover his master getting hit by the full blast. the force of the blast tore the servitor to shreds. magos turns to see the enemy behind him to find three noise marines.
Noise marines.Sonic weaponry-crafted by heathen and heretech knowledge for devious purpose!There was no time to think! Magos ducked and transfered his energy to his Ion generator.He`ll need it.He raised his Opus Machina Power Axe and rushed toward the Noise Marines while firing his Laspistol on full-auto. "May Omnissiah preserve me"-with this chant on his vox-broadcasted Magos Zeth,attacked.
energy of the lasgun stuned one marine, but it didn't matter as he was stuned magos leaped on him with his power axe. cleaving him in two. then swung at the seccond one beheading him but the third jumped back as the blade came towards him, and fired his sonic blaster hitting magos at point blank range sending him rolling heads over heals.
OOC:I am guessing some of that was absorbed by the Ion Shield? He hit the blood soaked dust with all the weight he had in himself.The power of the sonic weapon on point blank range was devastating.Luckly it wasnt set to maximum frequency or he would have been destroyed no matter the Ion Shield.Words...can kill indeed. As he was inhaling the blood of the Chaos-tainted traitor and a heretic he twitched from the blast.The repulsion to anything Chaotic was so intergrated in the parts of the sub-consioncense that it was appaling and had overridden all of his reflexes.His battle-algorythms were fully operational and he quickly fired a volley from his laspistol before the CSM had the chance to fire again.He leaped toward his heroicly sacrificed Battle-Servitor and got the half-burnt tank of promethium. He tossed it with all of his strenght toward the CSM and fired at the canister...
the blast caused magos only to see white. he was flung back from the force of it. rebooting his systems he saw a faint outline of a marine. >black out< . . . systems online. . . magos woke to the sound of bolter fire. he bolted up reaching for his power axe to find it not in its holster. he felt a hand on his shoulder and a voice saying "your in the emperors hands now there is nothing else i can do for you techmarine." magos looks to his right to see a spacewolf apothercary. as well as the gaurdsmen sargent laying flat on his back his leg and half a arm missing. another injered spacewolf, and a marine that he did not know who he was trying to get up (OSSIF's character)
Icarus grunted and removed his helm; he managed a pained grin at the apothecary. "Rest? Nonsense! There is much to be done- no time to sit around here doing nothing..." He spat a little blood before turning to the magos. "Oh, now who do we have here? Nice to have a little more company joining us!" he chuckled before flopping onto his back.
"i think the apothercary is right Icarus" replyed Turan "welcome to hell techmarine! we are the only survivors of this crash, and we where ambussed by chaos on the right flank. these are my men darion (twin-linked bolter and chain sword), ovius (bolt pistol, and chain sword), rendor (hv.bolter), and last aswell as in the worst condition is Naivur a krak grenade blew half of his right leg off. (naivur has a hv.bolter) and then apothercary durion (bolt pistol and power sword)
