My tears shed when I realied Avitus was to be the traitor (and my tactics suffered a heavy blow in the process). I really liked the way he was

Avitus was a tragic figure indeed...his hatred for the enemy and his disregard towards the imperial guard slowly consumed both his mind and heart...the battle of Victory Bay taught him that there was only death and destruction...his downfall was only a matter of time. Add to the facts that Avitus distrusted the Chapter itself for his secrecy policy and forgetting its own Primarch ,and 'cause of Kyras requests for information for an "ally" ,who ended up being Eliphas himself
