Vox Trail Brother Rahim - "The silence reminds me of a tomb brothers. Any luck Brother-Chaplain?" He hoped that the other group was having better luck at finding any clues as to what happened. "Brothers where is the rendezvous point after we find the vox signal? Back at the armory? Or will we use another location, perhaps the Monastary?" He can't believe that part had slipped his mind earlier. It wouldn't be much of an issue but still needed to be considered. "That can't be correct?! But if what Brother Sho'nohak said is indeed true then the vox signal is inside another vessel." His dark suspicions were correct, may the Emperor watch over them.
Vox -Jager "Well This is interesting now we are on a hulk. Think we will ever see nocturne again brothers?" he asked the others as they went on.
<Vox> Zhu Li'ang formed fists with his hands. This would become much more dangerous, much faster. This new information combined with the Auspex results of the chaplain... "Thank you Sho'nohak, it also seems the Vox signal comes from beyond our craft... And therefor the Space Hulk. Next move, team?" After the Squad-wide vox he turned to Rahim. "You better accept this very fast. The warp works in many mysterious ways. Better steel yourself and prepare for worst." Zhu obviously spoke like a veteran, though in reality he just was a very experienced Astartes and one who knew that to be prepared was all. OOC: Guys; Sho'nohak just notified us that we are part of a Space Hulk, so we capable of knowing
Vox Trail Brother Rahim - "I understand Brother, I just hoped that my earlier suspicions were wrong. I believe we need to attempt to return power to this vessel and attempt to get some of the defenses online. If the vox is coming from the Space Hulk I doubt it's the Brother-Sergeant or the Inquisitor. But it should be investigated none the less. We may just have to switch our priorities. Unless the bridge team attempts to return power to the ship." The situation was getting darker by the minute. But the Emperor would guide them and see them through this challenge. These sons of Vulkan would survive to tell the tale. "We will see Nocturne again Brother."
<Vox> "I am not so concerned about our defenses, this is one craft now. All humans have died upon the... Integration. Therefor we must assume we are the lone survivors. For hope is the first step on the road of disappointment, and disappointment leads to our downfall here. We must rather find an end of the Hulk, grab a ship and escape... Or at least manage somehow to amplify a signal so the Hulk is found by the Imperium and we can be extracted. Worst case scenario. Attempt to blow this entire hulk up so that nobody else gets trapped." Zhu Li'ang was dead-on determined in whatever was necessary to prevent any other Imperial Citizen to become a trapped one here. Though who was sending the signal? It was Vox, therefor Imperial origin. And since it was looped... Perhaps a warning. "I say we still investigate the signal, since it comes from the Space Hulk, it could be a warning. It could be also a trap."
Peering out in to space, Sho could see that the port side of the Salamander vessel had crashed in to the Space Hulk's massive frame. The gravitational pull had taken hold of them--perhaps it had been why they had been pulled off course to begin with in their warp jump. [OOC: Awaiting the vox team's decision on where to go next before I say anything more on that]
<Sho'nohak, Bridge> "Recommend we all regroup and find ourselves an area to breach into the ship smashed against our port. " Then he fell silent and studied the other ships, trying to discern what races and factions they had previously belonged too and if there were any outlying signs of either warp taint or perhaps Tyranid infestation aboard the Space Hulk with his birds eye view.
Vox Trail Brother Rahim - "I agree that the vox needs to be investigated further, but the power being returned would help us boost our signal and the defenses would help if we could contact an Imperial vessel for extraction is all I'm saying. Hoping blindly will surely get us all killed, but planning the way forward will help us survive the day." He didn't want to argue with his Brother and left it at that. "Let us find this mysterious vox signal before it becomes lost to us." He began pushing forward into the unknown every step moving closer to the vox signal.
