Zhu Li'ang without requiring or being inquired to give opinion, and nowhere in the position to do so with an active Sergeant simply followed and as always focused on the flanks to keep them clear of enemies.

"I agree with mytis. We could get a few more armaments that could help us in the halls the only problem is it could get the sergeant and inquisitor killed without our help." he said still moving multimelta raised

  3. "Detours are out of the question brothers, we cannot afford to waste time. However if we come across an armory some mines and such would be helpful to buy us more time once we make out stand." Scribe says while hurrying along the corridor, frequently checking his map how much farther it is to the brig.

"We're almost there Brothers. Frags close I've got a feeling the Sergeant and Inquisitor have quite the crowd waiting outside for us. Brother Chaplain how holds up our flock? " Referring to their still loyal and sane warriors of course, they wouldn't last long even if they did survive the next trial before them many would simply be struck down by the sheer insanity of the warp.

"Mytis do you think we stand a chance if we split up and head to the armory to get some better armaments?
I could use a flamer to keep our enemies at bay with Promethium."

Ignacius takes a look around to hear the general opinion of his squad mates on the idea given by himself.
In the meantime he reloads his bolter to serve death to his enemies like he has done so many times before...

((OoC: Off to work, just assume he will inform the squad of what he finds and continues to protect the armsmen. Will vote to gather more survivors if it comes down to indecision.))

Tsen'Tal ushered the surviving crewmen behind the squad, taking up the rearguard with Crozius in one hand and auspex in the other. It was imperative to recover whatever survivors they could and ensure their safety. So the Chaplain kept an eye on their exposed rears, lenses casting back down the darkening halls and down to his auspex in shifts. "They breathe and are unsullied by the corrupting touch of the Warp, Sho'nohak. They shall remain that way under my charge and will by the Primarch's grace, increase in number." The Chaplain looked down to the auspex again, hoping for hard returns of what could hopefully be survivors.

Oh he hated to do this but his voice filled their shared vox-channel. "No, Brothers we cannot afford to be trapped outside the brig when the Gellar Field finally falls in full, consider this an order from the Sergeant himself to -keep moving-!" An order was an order and all Astartes were conditioned, brainwashed really, to obey except under the most extreme of circumstances or if their minds proved hardier, or more deviant, than most. He saw the merit in it truly but the risk wasn't worth the reward, besides if something came along they couldn't handle...well if Multi-Meltas didn't stop it nothing available to them would. He hated putting his foot down as such, quashing the thoughts of his comrades but t seemed necessary to their survival as they continued the final push to the Brig.

The devastator nodded in agreement with Sho'nohak. If this ship was falling apart at that great a level, then there was little time to waste. He clutched his heavy bolter and tightly and pressed on with the rest of the group, himself staying silent. What he would say had already been said anyway.

''Gellar field failed,'' the cold, monotone voice of the ship stated.

''Move, move!'' Sergeant Threlvar commanded of the survivors who had arrived at the brig. ''Form a firing line, maximum coverage. They shouldn't be able to teleport in here, but be on the lookout.''

''This is Sergeant Threlvar to all Salamanders, what is your status? Things are about to heat up.''

As the vessel barreled onward, along its unstoppable course, the daemon inhabitants of the warp once again began to invade the ship's internals. Strange warp powers tore at the ship, rupturing the hull and cutting large swathes out of it. The sergeant had pooled together barely two dozen survivors--out of the near 20,000 strong crew.

Beside him the inquisitor fought back the foes with his hammer, whilst spouting curse upon curse at his hated foe. But without the remaining Salamanders it would be impossible to hold the position. And even with them, their odds weren't much better.

"Advancing down the hall toward your now Brother-Sergeant! Jager , Cartus anchor the flanks of the survivors set yourselves a few bodies in toward the center so you're not without cover on your flanks. Scribe take up position with Jager, I'll cover Cartus, when those Blood Letters close ranks we'll make sure their heavy weapons don't stop firing. Everyone else spread out and stand amongst the crew, let your presence inspire and bolster them against the coming darkness. " Sho'nohak looked over to Cartus and waved his chainsword for the Devastators to enter first then waiting for the rest of his Battle Brothers before doing so himself and secreting himself amongst the survivors alongside the carrier of their heavy bolter.
